I bought a fur lined fleece hoodie from Lidl yesterday
It's my favourite green and only cost £6.99
And I'm wearing it in bed right now
Albert is sat in the hood bit
And won't budge.....
why do cats like small spaces?
I want him to move cos I want to pull the hood over my head
I Took William to the vets again to review his ear polyp....he now has a degree of heart failure
I had a serious talk to the vet about options given William's age
" You've been unlucky with your pets recently" the Spanish vet lisped
Never a truer word eh?
I bought him a hamburger all of his own on the way home
He bloody loved it
Bed early tonight.....I'm not very well....
I forgot to blog earlier and have just remembered

Hey ho
Cats just like to be annoying, it's the same with the way that they always sit on the exact bit of the newspaper that you're reading. Hope you soon feel better.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better soon, my cats sleep on any craft work I am doing, put it down for a second and one of them will curl up on top.
ReplyDeleteThink yourself you haven't got four vying for your hood xx
ReplyDeleteHe's got dogs vying for it instead!
DeleteI think that small enclosed spaces make cats feel safe.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon.
Stay strong John and get well.x
ReplyDeleteSweet dreams. Hope you feel better tomorrow am.
ReplyDeleteNothing serious I hope John? feel better...x
ReplyDeleteDo nurses make good patients? Do cats make good pillows?
ReplyDeletePlease get well quickly to avoid blog reader rioting.
I'll be fine just tired
DeleteSleep well...I'm about to fire up my electric blanket. I hate it when my feet are cold!
ReplyDeleteGet up better tomorrow. That's Rx...
ReplyDeleteOnly George and Albert are well at the moment!
Deletetake a breather, john; you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteAlbert knows the most comfortable spot!
ReplyDelete“Tired” makes one out of sorts . . . .
Hope a good sleep, less worry, will be in the cards!
Our cats used to sit in the tinniest of places .... I have a photograph of one of them in a jug with his head popping out of the top !!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteAlbert knows you got a great hoodie and wants it for the same reason you do: It's comfy!
ReplyDeletePoor William. Sweet of you to treat him to a burger. Get some rest. Drink some tea and listen to some soothing music to help you sleep.
Good health and best wishes to you and your clan.
Take care!
Awe sweet William he deserves a special treat. Take care of yourself John and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need a second hoodie, especially at that price! I hope you get a good rest for a few nights and start feeling better. Lack of sleep never used to slow me down but the last while I'm a mess if I don't get enough rest.
ReplyDeleteOh, god, stay well, John. We need you.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you buy the Spanish vet a hamburger? Heh heh heh. (Sorry...,)
ReplyDeleteI hope by the time you read this you are feeling much better.m

ReplyDeleteRest well.
ReplyDeleteCats love small, cozy places especially if they are fur lined! Feel better!
ReplyDeleteSorry you're feeling unwell and that hoodie sounds just the ticket for staying cozy. Unless, of course, Albert is in there with you ...!
ReplyDeleteOur cat has decided to sleep next to the microwave dishes that are under the microwave. She's never been one to snuggle in the soft places (go figure) even now that she's about 15 years old. Will try to send you an email of her "nest".
Hugs!
Damn. More hugs to you!!!
ReplyDeleteFaux leopard fur look is in. I looked at the skinny jeans and thought "er, Im 55, maybe I dont want to look like an aging Vegas hooker". So I opted for a fauxfurry little cheetah print jacket. And dang if i dont want to wear it all the time because its like a faux hug...Kitty is giving you a real hug- so enjoy it!
Hope you are feeling better this morning. I love cosy hoodies.
ReplyDeleteAww little William. Keep feeding him the burgers and give him cuddles. My vet is always the bearer of doom when we go to the vet, and then Poppy carries on as normal at home. She is 12 already, and I just keep her happy.
ReplyDeletethose animals of yours have a very good owner!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good sleep, things are always better in the morning
I hope you're feeling better after a good night's sleep!
ReplyDeleteMy secret for getting a good, deep, refreshing sleep is bed-socks. If my feet are lovely and warm, I sleep far better than at anyother time, you should try it. X
Hope that you got a good nights sleep, in spite of Albert! Perhaps you could buy him his own hoodie? Give William a cuddle from me. X
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better today. x
ReplyDeleteMy vet gave my dog a cancer death sentence 3 years ago and he's still alive and kicking, fit as a lop!I do wonder how much advice the vets give is absolutely necessary treatment and how much is to pay for their shiny 4x4.
ReplyDeleteHope you’re feeling better today, John x
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteI put the iron on the worktop to cool, lead was hanging down onto the floor. It made a little circle. Cat went and sat in the circle.
ReplyDeleteShe also LOVES cardboard boxes, the smaller the better.
I think it's in their DNA.
Hope you managed to sleep well.
Given the veterinary bills, I am surprised that you bought the Spanish vet a hamburger! Hasn't he got his own car?
ReplyDeleteMink? Obviously faux fur, so no nasty comments!
ReplyDeleteIt never rains but it pours...keep your umbrella up and your feet dry John x
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you are getting love and licks from the four legged crew on your bed. Hug and kiss from me to add to it John. Keep soldiering on.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better today. Look after yourself and the animal hospital. Love from Cornwall
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteWish you better. You are right about cats. Mine is a kleptomaniac - last night had paramedics out for son with his nut allergy. Cat waltzed in - had a good look thro their bag - gave his scratch post a good going over and sat and stared at them. Thankfully they left with all their ambu bags and airways. Wish you better. x
ReplyDeleteI keep trying to write something brilliant, funny and yet soothing. I haven't managed to do it, but I do want to wish you a better day today.
ReplyDeleteYou just did
