You're a day, I mean a night, early. Do the spirits of the dead know we've turned the clocks back and if they come to visit at midnight they'll have to hang about outside for an hour before they can come and greet us. Don't forget to leave a window open so they can come and go.
Yikes ! Halloween is almost here, it happened so fast ! I will turn out the front lights and keep the car in the garage. I am not a Halloween Scrooge but being alone here, it will not be a good idea to open the door at night to who knows what ? Little goblins in the daylight though, I will have candy for .. chocolates .. hoping there will be a lot left over lol
I saw a cottage garden today full of small grave stones. I thought it was a pet cemetary. Then I saw the pumpkins and realised it was for halloween. Macabre.
we need about a bazillion of those here aimed at Washington DC.

DeleteIt was treat last year so it'll be trick this year. I've prepared the cauldron of boiling lead and the buckshot. That should see them off.

ReplyDeleteNice. I like that pumpkin, you little pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin and mine would be a nice match. Mine's a little friendlier but both are of the "traditional" style.
ReplyDeleteLove that pumpkin. Maybe I should have carved one this year, although not easy to find here.
