The Ring Of Kerry

Nuala's cottage is picture perfect.
A delightful hideaway surrounded by what looks like an all encompassing forrest
It was nearly ten o clock when I took this photo and the light in this part of Ireland seemed not quite of this world.
We talked, ate sea bass and sipped wine and I slept nine hours solid without having a wee.

  11. The cottage looks old, but renewed. I really like it. Sounds like a good time was had by yourself, but without the party atmosphere. Nice.

  12. Did the cottage used to be a schoolhouse?

And a nine hour solid sleep sounds wonderful!
The setting, wine, air, friendship . . . the “best!”

  19. A nine hour sleep seems an impossibility anymore. Glad you are having a wonderful catch-up with an old friend in a beautiful setting. You've been rightfully "out of sorts" lately, or so it has seemed, so hopefully this will be restorative. -Jenn

  24. Sleeping for nine hours even WITH a wee (or two.....or more) would be quite some welcome going for me. Maybe the solution is - to move to Ireland!

  26. Absolutely gorgeous cottage, I would sell up and move into that in a heartbeat :-)

Nine hours without a wee .... well THAT much wine would have dehydrated you somewhat!!

Enjoy, oh and could we have an interior shot ... just one ... pretty please :-)

  27. Oh and it's a very appropriate looking cottage for someone called Nuala, who Wikipedia says is the wife of the King of the Fairies :-)

  31. Beautiful cottage - I'd love to explore the inside as well.

I shall think of you relaxing there while I live in my tent (with small dog) for the next few days on the North coast of Cornwall, cliff top site.

  33. Such a charming place - and one wonders what one's sleep pattern would be, without furry masters to wake us frequently, doesn't one?? I know this "one" wonders, anyhow . . . I never seem to get rested . . .
