I thought you had grown a bushy moustache for a minute, before I made out Mary, lol. Is it Mary? Have I put the right name to her/him?
This afternoon I was sorting out yet more photographs (they're turning into a saga). It was the turn of those taken when my husband worked in Saudi Arabia. I'm now up to 1984! Only 34 more years to go.
A worthy way to spend an afternoon. I’m sitting in my car staring of the churning Pacific Ocean on this rainy day. The runners and dog walkers are still out but here I am on my butt. Ah well...
I am so glad you are back. I had wanted to tell you that your post about Bara brith inspired me to ultimately make a Welsh breakfast for our sheep shearing crew this morning. The breakfast components are explained at https://schoonoverfarm.wordpress.com/2018/03/22/our-welsh-breakfast/
Ah - so relaxing, and SUN too! I thing that dogs are so much more comfortable sleeping companions than cats - ours always threatened CLAWS if one dared move a muscle - but cats are slave-drivers, aren't they!
It’s so calming to have the 3 gingers sleep on me in my favorite chair near the window where the bird feeder is. I long left the market of human contact. My gins and grandsons show me love. The gamer is soft around the edges but grumbles under his breath some. Enjoy your weekend. Gabs
Just hope your contentment continued when the hub arrived? Here with the move it has been an ongoing saga... Hubs has had more hubs than is good for a guy! Only the other day day one appeared as if by magic. I wouldn’t mind but he’s not called Techno Ted for nothing.
I had to ask my G what a hub was, and after a very long explanation I was just as confused. Wireless. Much like a modem? Linking all of a home network together. I hope it all went well. I too love the new beard.
John, I rarely comment, but I heard Chasing Cars on the radio today and thought of you and your boy Finlay.
The internet is a strange place isn't it? I heard just a note or two and before I recognized the song I knew it was something emotional. Because of a man I don't know, and a little dog, far across an ocean (and years ago, now).
Nothing like a nap in the sun.
ReplyDeleteI did similar this afternoon whilst trying to trim my mop dogs hair-him chilled out ,me snipping x
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely and wonderful way to enjoy some sun and good company!
