Forgive me for not replying to my previous post's comments
I have read each reply and as usual they eclipsed my original words and thoughts.
I've just woke up after a sneaky nap on a blow up mattress
We spent the day in a rather picturesque British city and I was tired
Where are we?
Here is a little clue

York?
ReplyDeleteNo idea...but a beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Cathedral I guess, so Canterbury?
ReplyDeleteNot a clue, but I'll give it a whirl - Chester?
ReplyDeleteI would also say Canterbury as a first choice, but as you have been to Herne Bay to family on so many other occasions and you must have done Canterbury so I’ll throw out my second guess and say Rochester. If so, stop by and I’ll open the Sauvignon Blanc. MaggieB
ReplyDeleteWell done mags
DeleteDurham???
ReplyDeletewell, it's not paris or new york...
ReplyDeleteWherever it is, I wish I was there ...
ReplyDeleteCanterbury Cathedral?
ReplyDeleteWell done
DeleteWells
ReplyDeleteChester?
ReplyDeleteSalisbury?
ReplyDeleteI probably have the least time of any commenter in the UK, but I'd guess Cambridge or Oxford.
ReplyDeleteLincoln?
ReplyDeleteExeter? Only because no one else has mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteOxford or Cambridge? I've never been to either one (or for that matter anywhere in the British Commonwealth other than Canada) but it's what I imagine a university town that's been around since the Middle Ages might look like.
ReplyDeleteScratching through old song lyrics.......Winchester or Salisbury.
ReplyDeleteEly ?
ReplyDeleteThis was going to be my guess too.
DeleteSorry...I'm geographically challenged.
ReplyDeleteThat would be the place where Thomas Becket came a cropper.
ReplyDeleteFive of you guessed right x
DeleteDid you go in the gift shop? I remember it being excellent. Happy New Year to you and Chris x
ReplyDeleteMy favourite. Happy New Year to you both.
ReplyDeleteBy the looks of it you were in a bush. I hesitate to suggest what you might have been doing in said bush. Perhaps you were playing hide and seek.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they’re in their Christmas underwear.
DeleteBaubles and all.
DeleteWell, it can't be here because there's no snow!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good sleep on that blow up mattress! I'm like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz - thre's no place like home :)
ReplyDeleteP. S. I didn't guess because I had no idea. But it's a lovely building.
Looks like Canterbury, but I'd need to see it from the West to be sure.
ReplyDeleteIt costs a bleeding fortune to get into the Cathedral these days, eh? No way to greet weary pilgrims.
ReplyDeleteI've toured this cathedral.
