Exactly. And I always reckon that daffs are the 'happiest' of flowers. Pity they are so short-lived, though. It rather reflects the transience of happiness itself.
We have yellow post boxes. My favourite flowers are yellow primroses and daffodils. Yellow is a happy colour. I notice somebody else says that too. I remember as a child being happy whenever I saw yellow.
Yep, I'm also reminded of the Donovan song: "I'm just mad about Saffron, Saffron's mad about me, they call me mellow yellow." All you need now is an electrical banana....
I like yellow; it’s cheerful. Springtime I look so forward to the daffodils 🌼 budding. Enjoy your weekend. The temps are cool here; a slow rain. It’s a lovely Sunday afternoon.
More jug envy here. My hall and stairs are sponged primrose yellow (like yellow scattered with clouds) lights up the whole house, like your white kitchen will :)
I like yellow too! It's a very uplifting colour. :) As an aside, I like the composition of the photo. Very artful. x
