snatched Post

I have three minutes to blog today.
The Prof and I are taking his nephew to London today.
My contribution is the Star Wars exhibition at the O2 The Prof has organised a virtual reality experience at the Science Museum.
It's the first time we have been given responsibility of a small person
(but I have to say here that I am an expert in child care given the training I have received from the Randa Girls)
wish us luck!
gulp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. I have no experience with children, but it can' t be much different than entertaining a sweet bulldog - keep him on a short lead.

Don't try too hard. Just a kid and don't overwhelm him. Who knows? He may just enjoy the company of his uncles.

  19. You'll see how refreshing it is to look at the world through the eyes of a child. You'll feel like a child again yourself!

  32. On a totally different note (because I know you'd never risk eating a scotch egg on the beach) I read today that the first ever scotch egg was invented by Fortnum and Mason in 1738. They wrapped the egg in sausage meat and bread crumbs so it would be easy for travellers to take on journeys. I thought of you the moment I read it.
