I doubt very much that you did last night..... but if you did I would keep quiet about it. I won't admit I follow your blog if it hits the press. Happy New Year to you and all your loved ones.
Dear John, I read your blog religiously, from San Diego, CA, USA and enjoy it immensely, but my main reason for writing to you todayis to share my grief that Sue and Lovely Hubby from "Our New LIfe in the Country" have closed their blog. I know Sue was a big fan of yours. I am almost despondent. Her pics of her animals/pets and your animals/pets were the highlight of my day, as I am caring for my elderly Mom who doesn't like pets and I no longer have my 5 crazy and sometimes retarded cats to keep me company; I can have them vicariously through yours. You know Sue, don't you, she has mentioned you on her blog. If you ever have an opportunity to see her/talk with her, please tell her that her fans are missing her desperately and hope the best for her and her family. Now, please, don't you decide to leave us, also. I love your posts. My deceased (AIDS, 1995) husband was gay and would have been about your age. I miss his drama and wit, and hijinks. Your day to day musings keep my heart happy. Best New Year to you and your hubby prof.
