Happy Christmas John. I spend my life hoovering up the innards of whichever toy Lucky, the collie, has mauled during the week at one of the houses I housesparkle at! Arilx
Have a totally splendiferous Xmas, J.G. - and The Prof too - as well as ALL the little ones, with Winnie leading the charge of getting into the appropriate spirit, bless her.
I am knee deep in disembowelled, desqueeked, dismembered dog toys already. Bets are now on as to who of the three will be 'passing' the little tinkly bell later.....
I am only mildly deep in cat toys ... mostly I am trying to explain the idea of new toys that appear out of nowhere to Merlin, the old boy ... who was horrified at the sight of a toy doll standing by his dish this morning. Who knew ? He keeps looking back at his dish now, wondering what other demon from hell will pop up while he is eating.
A double pack of squishy happy face balls for Scooter and a package of cat treats for Sampson are awaiting them under the tree. Have a very merry Christmas, John. -Jenn
Happy Christmas to you and the Prof. I rarely leave a comment but one of my best internet pleasures is the enjoyment I get when I stop by to read your most recent several weeks worth of posts. Please continue :) All best wishes for a bright and prosperous New Year!
this might be the cutest winnie pic ever! merry xmas....i made everyone scotch eggs this morning and wrapped the egg in prosciutto before wrapping them in sausage. most excellent! wish you lived close by!
What a very happy girl! She looks positively radiant (or is that because she's been showered?) Hope you have had - and are still having - a wonderful Christmas time. Very best wishes to you, Chris and all the furred and feathered creatures. Me? I was at the hospital at 9am this morning, having 33 metal staples and 2 nylon stitches taken out of my wound, where my brand new Replacement Knee was inserted on 13th December. So there. Next target - driving my car again and the final target - getting another doggy companion; My Zac has been very much missed this Christmas, with his habit of ripping open the presents.
Oh, Winnie ! Whatever it was, it looked well stuffed !

Bok had a packet of 'exclusive' hand-made Dog Biscuits. He loves them. He will be having Steak for dinner. I'm a slave to my animals.

ReplyDeleteAs long as it has a squeaker, our Goldie will just squeak, but woe betide the toy that doesn't - it has a tragically short life expectancy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you both, and the critters
