A new leader who is doing better than our Rick!
At last
The Walking Dead had a balanced and pragmatic leader of souls . Ezekiel
(Kahary Payton) is an actor, and a former zoo keeper who parades a tiger like a pet and speaks in Shakespearean tones in way of providing a larger than life persona ........but he really seems in charge of a post apocalyptic community with some sense and balance and insight which bloody well makes a change! . Our heroes Morgan and the ever wonderful Carol have taken refuge in
Kingdom, and Ezekiel has the clear measure of both.
I thought I would hate the new community storylines.....but in fact I am loving them .
My favourite episode so far
It was different. I wonder where it will lead?
ReplyDeleteCarol is the only character negan does not know ......
DeleteI might possibly have to try watching this again. My husband loved it. Anything with the words Walking Dead in it sort of puts me off .. I will try again, maybe ... maybe.
ReplyDeleteIt was balanced and rather entertaining
DeleteIt calmed me down! After last week I wasn't sure if I'd watch it again! I like Ezekiel, especially when he opened up to Carol. I can't quite understand why she has gone off on the deep end!

DeleteThanks. I didn't think about that.
DeleteMorgan and he King will bring her back
DeleteDef brought back the balance I needed, as a Libra, fairness is my mantra!
ReplyDeleteMine too x
DeleteNow the who community has balance Maggie at hilltop, and carol at kingdom
ReplyDeleteI think Carol has placed herself outside of the Kingdom to call attention to herself. The Saviours and Neegan aren't really aware of her power. As far as they know the woman they shot on the road is most likely a walker after being shot.
ReplyDeleteI see this as the "woman power" season. Beware the wrath of Maggie and Carol
I loved the voice of Ezekiel..
ReplyDeleteI did not watch it. Good to know it is going well.
ReplyDeleteI skipped the gory first episode and thought i might not watch this season but almost by accident i caught the second episode and i enjoyed it... I will try again next week too.......Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI was so glad when Carol got called out on her little helpless woman routine, it was almost ridiculous. Was that a booty call at the end?
ReplyDeleteA lot of the fans think that because Michone took Andrea's place as Rick's love interest, that Carol will take Michone's place as Ezekiel's love interest thereby tying up all the loose ends that separate the comics from the TV show, though I don't personally think they have much chemistry. So maybe?
DeleteLooking forward to catching this when so kind `copyright rebel` uploads it on youtube. And John I must tell you I showed my daughter {13} your pumpkin and she immediately said...`oh remember when some one kicked his carved pumpkin down the lane, I felt so bad for him`. Funny how children remember stuff and sweet she had such empathy. Hope this years has faired better !
ReplyDeleteGood review.
ReplyDeleteI loved this episode - a genius contrast to the first. And I cried! The season gets an injection of hope.
