Crush!

Winnie was beside herself when I got home from work this morning.
Graham the workman had already stripped the toilet roof by 8 am and all she had been able to do was to to blow the odd bulldog kiss at him through the cat flap for presumably a hour or so.
She was exhausted at the unrequited effort of it all.
" She wants to watch what I 'm doing " Graham noted when I walked down the path and I refrained from the comment of " she wants to shag you, that's what she really wants to do"
It was far too early for such things to be discussed.
Especially as we now have an open air outside toilet ...all in pink!
I don't understand when Winnie first started this unsavoury love affair with male visitors.
It never used to be such a problem when she arrived at Bwthyn y Llan, but very slowly, over they years she has morphed into one of those slightly slutty MILFs that frequent the more offputting depths of the internet.
I blame the Prof's " slippers of sex" for it all.

So dear readers have you ever had an unhealthy crush on anyone?
I'd be interested to know!

  1. Have I ever had a crush on someone that was healthy? That's the question.

  4. In my own case it's only happened to me (and I can say this with the wisdom of hindsight) when a crush became 'unhealthy' as soon as I discovered that that person was more interested in someone else rather than myself and I refused to or didn't want to accept it. (I hope you can follow that.)

  6. I have to say none of my crushes were "unhealthy".
I did spend time with someone who had a crush on me ... when I lived in Hollywood ... I will name no names but being a movie star, he was good for trips to Acapulco with my girlfriends etc.

  7. I had a dreadful crush on a man I worked with many years ago, and I think he felt the same about me, but....we were both happily married to our other halves and had children, so neither of us ever made a move.
He got a new job, and we've never seen one another since, which is probably a good thing!
I would never have left my husband, and I'm sure he would have stayed with his wife, so it would only ever have been a fling, and I'm really not the 'fling' type!

  9. I had a telephone crush on someone I had deal with at work. Word crept around the office until they all watched and grinned whenever I had to call him. The only way I could deal with them was to play up to it, making more of it than it was. Then one day I phoned and he had left. No goodbyes or anything. Typical.

  11. When I was 13 and in the eighth grade I had a crush on a boy and wrote his name all over the front of my notebook. He had a twin brother and both of them at that point in our unequal puberties were about a head shorter than I was. I walked home from school one day with them and the brother spotted my notebook and said, "Wow, puppy love, don't you think?" I was mortified. That was the end of that romance.

  13. I had an unhealthy crush on a workmate once, which was never reciprocated. I followed her every movement, noted every tiny change in her appearance, replayed every conversation a hundred times. My obsession eventually burnt itself out, but it took a good 12 months.

  21. I had a crush on my brother's best friend. I once sent him an anonymous Valentine card when I was in boarding school but it would've been a giveaway, so I asked my friend to post it in from her home town. Coincidence is he eventually married a girl from that town.

  24. Hmm let me see... I had a crush on a work collegue who worked at a different branch... for many months, because of work requirements, we spoke on the phone. When he finally turned up at our branch, I found out he was very very good looking... but a total sleaze bag.. trouble is by this time he thought I was "easy meat". Took a bit of wriggling out of that one I can tell you!! Did I learn my lesson... did I 'eck!

  28. So many unhealthy crushes!

When I was a teenager I had an interest in a boy who came to my house a couple of times, chatted and drank coffee. He gave me my first real kiss.
A couple of weeks later he declared me "staid"
At the time I didnt know what to think, with hindsight I just think he was a self obsessed wanker

  29. Oh John, please don't let Winnie's wanton ways rub off on you!

  31. I recall being obsessed with a framing carpenter who worked on a major project of mine for about six-months one time. The man knew how to dress and spent lots of time at the gym. Alas I was about as successful as Winnie on that one.

  32. Had a thing about a lad who was sixteen when I was 11. Sat on my swing in the garden; saw him walking down the road; so decided to jump across the privet hedge so he would look at me. Unknown to me my dad had threaded some wire through the middle to strengthen said hedge; He looked up, yes, and laughed. I limped for days . . . bastard !!! Love Andie xxx
