Leave?
It's 1.30 and I've just got home. The results are comming in and it's looking like "leave" winning at the moment....
I will leave you with a cracking novelty fruit entry from jennifer
Donald Trump out of peaches!
John, sitting over here stateside, I'm not sure how to react. Of course, markets around the world are in freefall right now, and automatic stops are being triggered. I will confess I don't understand the issue in depth and what is truly the right thing that should have happened.
As the orange-peachy Trump touches down in Scotland today he can add his congratulations for 'Leave' to those of Marine le Pen - as well as a possible forthcoming endorsement from super-butch Vlad the Putin who'll be all smiles this morning. But the people have spoken, and for me it's going to be a day where any humour to lift my sombre mood will be distinctly welcome.
Oh, dear. "Little Britain" was an amusing TV show, but it seems a questionable geopolitical strategy in 2016. And I do hope it's not a foreshadowing of goings-on here in the colonies come November...
It is really weird, the leave vote is all anyone can talk about at work and in the streets, but blogland is very quiet. I think we are all in shock that the leave vote won - even the people who voted leave.
Peaches were my favourite fruit. Like Kris - I shall think of Donald now each time I eat one. As to the result - well we are a democratic country and it is a democratic vote so we shall have to abide by it. I shall just ignore all the fall out as I cannot do anything about it.

I think she actually caught his likeness...mouth wide open saying nothing of importance. But I hope it was a sour peach.
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteIt was beginning to rot and smell bad. Just like Trump's campaign.
DeleteI've been scrolling through your page and have to tell you how cute your terriers are. But you already know that, don't you. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour food creations are really fun, too. The Donald Trump one takes the cake. I love it.
William and Mary had their smart haircuts today so they look even more cute x
DeleteInterested to see that Wales has voted to Leave. It's a nail biter for sure.
ReplyDeleteIt's now about 5.30am, and it looks as if we shall leave the EU. Not really sure what to make of it all.
ReplyDeleteGood one Jennifer.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel! :)

ReplyDeleteUncanny? You mean they were fresh peaches - not from a tin? Well done Jennifer - honouring your hero in this way!
ReplyDeleteHe's no hero of mine!
DeleteHard to believe the news

ReplyDeleteDang! I'll never be able to look at peaches the same way again. *sob*

ReplyDeleteThe Donald Trump fruit creation is excellent. Only the peaches should be saggy and soggy. xx
ReplyDeleteThe peaches are better looking!
ReplyDeleteSigh. Couldn't believe the news.
ReplyDeleteLove the creation though - and needed the smile.
