Gop

In one of his rare fits of " derring do" the Prof suggested that both of us take the dogs for a walk up  Gop hill today. It 's been uncharacteristically  warm and sunny.
He conceded that it was unwise to Winnie to walk all of the way up ( after I reminded him that it was me that had to try to resuscitate Constance after she had collapsed during a walk) so we filled " little Fanny" with dogs ( I promised to " dyson it out asap)  and drove up the hill behind the village..
The views were lovely.

Down be valley to the coast ( Note Winnie cloud watching)

Across the valley towards the village

There are very few places to rival N. Wales for great views in a small area........when it's not raining!
Have you cleaned out your 'fanny ' yet? X

  7. The place of my dreams. From childhood I dreamt of living in places that looked like this .. with people who spoke English and I wouldn't understand a word of it lol What breathtaking views.

They'd be speaking Welsh, not English.....that's why you wouldn't understand them! :-)

  22. I still marvel at how similar your view is to our province on the other side of the Atlantic! But then we were all mushed together at one time, were we not?

  25. Lovely views, it was such a lovely day wasn't it. We have to tailor our walks to suit Suky, usually I sit on a bench and stop with her while LH goes on a bit further with the Jack Russells, she's better than she used to be but still seizes up the next day if we walk her too far, so prevention is better than cure.

We went to Llandudno prom before the day visitors descended and had the place to ourselves. Magical calm seas and blue skies, we walked the dogs and watched a lone white boat chug its way across the horizon, and three canoeists 'do their thing' closer to the beach.

Just what the doctor .... ordered some calm and tranquility after all the storms.

  27. Hey John, If Trump wins over here I'll be camping at your place. You will hardly notice me, my honey, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and my 91 year old mother-in-law. Oy.
