Another true, un-ghostly, story - my balance is very very bad, so dogs jumping on me is strictly forbidden. Since she was Mary's size, Lily ~ the Diva doodle ~ has taught herself to wait until I'm sitting, then wrap her paws around my arm for a 'hug'. =)
Frankly Google. Account. What? Can't comment. Google won't let me. Not. clever enough to sort through the crap. Huh. Seriously. How devoted am I? I did it. Love the baby dog. Got an old'un. Love my elderly dog. How many more puppies do I have in me?
That is just soooo cute! Makes all the toilet training and Winnie breakdowns and puppy teeth in your shoes (no, you haven't blogged about that yet but it might happen) all worthwhile, don't you think?
Isn't it amazing how you can let your arms and legs go numb from not moving in case you disturb her :) She is really so very very sweet. give her a kiss from Auntie C in the USA.
In my book there is nothing more relaxing than to cuddle a puppy to sleep. I have been known to have my arm completely asleep and carefully put either McKenzie or Alia across my chest and without moving them slide my left arm and they never moved. My husband used to look at me and smiled while shaking his head. He adored them and knew exactly what I was doing, You are doing just fine, She is your girl for sure.
This morning as I fed the animals before the first (precious) cup of tea, as normal, struggling to pick the bowls up from the floor (a result of 2 1/2 barrow loads of poo picking yest afternoon) I vowed that when these precious ones go to pet heaven I will only be a dog grandma (daughter wants a husky!!), or cat auntie. And then you go and post this. damn you to hell. x
When thehamish was brand new very tiny he would waddle over to me if I was sitting down in the living room, and would do the cutest little wine. Of course I would pick up this super little tiny bundle, hardly bigger than my hand, and he would curl up into a tiny ball and fall asleep on my lap. He had me trained early in in his life. I miss that sweet puppy time with all my gud dugs.
You are not wrong about that!
