Start as we mean to go on

6am
I am up getting ready for a day on ITU
:-(
The bright thing is that we are off to affable despots Jason and Claire's house later tonight
for dinner....
Unfortunately William has already brought the whole day down again
He had had the runs all over the front of the washing machine
How does he do that?
Hey ho
I'm off to work

  2. I hope the rest of your day treats you kindly. My mother's cat made a practice of crapping up the curtains. To an amazing height... At least the washing machine can be wiped down.

  4. We get dainty lady poos out in the hall in front of the front door. Not sure I could 'do' squirty poos up the washing machine,.... clean them up I mean, not actually 'do' them.....oh you know what I mean! Hope the day ahead is calm for you.

  6. We get neat little piles either dead central on the kitchen floor, or neatly next to the toilet, both floors are tiled .... phew. Emergency wees are always on the door mat, which luckily is washable ....... except for the one that was done dead central on the kitchen floor (culprit must have got confused), we now know the kitchen floor isn't dead flat as it trickled between the grout lines under the units ..... hey ho ...... hehe:-)

  9. I think poor William's poo habits should perhaps have been on yesterday's list of depressing things - hope you have a good day and an enjoyable evening after having that to deal with this morning :)

  12. Oh my! Whatever would we do without our pets and their messes? Have a great day and enjoy your dinner later.

  13. What do you feed those dogs on? This seems to be a regular occurence - have you tried something like Eukenuba?

  15. My Alfie can plant one on a tree (about 10" off the ground), or sticks his backside in a shrub and land it on a leaf, doesn't hit the ground at all. Point and shoot!
His squirty tummy eased off when I took him off dog biscuits. Poor little bugger used to be miserable with his tummy squealing and squarking all the time.

    1. Same thing happened to my dog .. Tate. He would go to the groomer and come home and have the runs for 24 hours. We thought it was soap ? bad water ? no, the groomer overfed him cheap treats.

  16. Imagine 2 cats, one old , one young, both with upset stomachs because no one told them cats are picky. They both ate something that didn't agree ... I have litter boxes all over the house. Good thing no one is coming to look and buy this house !

  17. One of my cats craps up the side of the litter tray rather than on the litter, my eldest cat Gomez craps or piddles on the kitchen floor next to the litter tray (dirty boy) the kitten is good puts the other two to shame.

  19. We somehow got two of the most delicate cats in the world, both with intestinal issues. Aside from their food, which is formulated to help the problem, one of them has required antibiotics at times for her colitis. Maybe William has a similar issue? It can't be any fun for him to have the runs frequently, either!

Hope your day ends better than it began!

  20. Rather the front of the washer rather than dribbles all over the house...I was greeted by a split of poop on the stairs and a neat pile on the rug by the back door....

  21. I am giving my cats their own litter pans. I think that might be much more agreeable to tender cat sensibilities. The old hairy one just goes, he has no time for fiddle faddle. The young one is too picky and thinks she is a princess .. someone, pick that up for me !

  23. Poor William must be sorely distressed, knowing that in bending down to clean up the mess, you will be depressed both by the mess, and the possible incidence of flatus. I imagine that he cares for you tremendously. Please give him a good boy snuggle for hitting a washable surface.

  24. Better than the runs all over the carpet, I suppose. But you'd think if he could aim for the washing machine, he could as easily aim for the toilet!

    1. My mothers favorite cat story was about the one that would straddle the toilet and go .. I would have the luck of my cat straddling the toilet and falling in.
