I was going to say, That's ridiculous. He doesn't look like Ron Weasley! Then I looked at the photo again. The resemblance is there. Chris looks as if he had a slight cast of red to his hair, but Rupert Grint is a major ginger.
Goodness, I wouldn't have known that's the same person - he looks so different now! And how smart he is, with the stiff collar and tie. Was this a special occasion?
Such a sweet photo even if he looks so sad or deep in though. Why an I here ? What do I have to do to get away from here ? I hope there is cake after this !
"Still waters run deep" as my grandmother used to say. But he certainly let the sunshine in on his wedding day! I bet he's sensitive too but buries it down deep...
It is 10:52 PM here and I am reading your post. No offense to Chris, but you just gave me my biggest laugh of the day. After seeing this, maybe he will smile more. Life is too short not to.
Oh my! Such a pensive and worried little cutie!
ReplyDeleteMy mum used to cut my fringe like that! That's why I have "Issues" hehehe
ReplyDeleteHe looked like a little Prof way back then!
ReplyDeleteHe was every inch of one
DeleteYes, definitely not one of nature's natural smilers, but already he looks deep in thought.
ReplyDeleteVery funny!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a child who was less child-like.
ReplyDeleteYes an old man ina kids body
DeleteThe Prof just has a face that when in repose, is serious!
ReplyDeleteHe was just getting his " Roger Moore" eyebrows into shape even then
Deletethe prof is a deep thinker. serious minded. but on your wedding day, he was beaming from ear to ear!
ReplyDeleteI could get over that AM
DeleteMaybe his collar pinched.
ReplyDeleteOr his underpants were too tight
Deletenow winnie wears his underpants! ;-)
DeleteWhat a wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteIt is rather good is it not?
DeleteI would love to use it as my avatar.
DeleteHelp yourself
DeleteI'll try it out for size.
DeleteHe looks a hundred times better now! Better hair cut now too.
ReplyDeleteI like the "inside smilers".
ReplyDeleteHe looks like ' Ron Weasley ' John ……. you're not married to Rupert Grint are you ?!!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteWasnt he a ginger!?
DeleteChris' colouring is different but his little face reminded me of him. He has a lovely face. XXXX
DeleteThank goodness I'm not the only one to note the resemblance to Ron Weasley!

Deletebless!....or as my mother would have said...'a face like a baby's smacked arse'....
ReplyDeleteGoodness, I wouldn't have known that's the same person - he looks so different now! And how smart he is, with the stiff collar and tie. Was this a special occasion?
ReplyDeleteHa! I have a son who is like that. Even in baby photos, he has such a serious look on his face!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. So funny.
ReplyDeleteMy eldest brother is like that. Then and now. I am pretty certain he smiles internally. And hope he does so often.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet photo even if he looks so sad or deep in though.
ReplyDeleteWhy an I here ? What do I have to do to get away from here ?
I hope there is cake after this !
cheers, parsnip
Ha! Obviously already a deep thinker, considering serious matters.
ReplyDeleteHe is a dear little fellow in that photo. Reminds me of my 9 year old son who is nicknamed The Professor . X
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a Monty Python sketch.
ReplyDeleteA very serious little fella.
ReplyDeleteOne of my few complaints about men in general (I'm still a fan of the gender) is that they just don't smile enough.
ReplyDeleteI assure you I am female, and I do not smile if I can avoid it because I never had braces. I do the close-mouthed smile.
DeleteHe's gotten taller, but otherwise ... much the same face! What a great photo!
ReplyDeleteI trust that Chris gave you permission to post this picture. Otherwise, he would be within his rights to sue the crap out of you!
ReplyDeleteIt is his twitter photo so i figured it was in the public domain
DeleteVery serious and very cute
ReplyDeleteI can't tell if he's about to cry, contemplating the meaning of life, or has gas...
ReplyDeleteI think the sun was in his eyes. Do not believe he was in a "Smile" mood. Still looks like a sweet boy.
ReplyDeleteHe looks as if he just sucked on a lemon.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie

ReplyDeleteHe's how I always imagined 'Bluebottle' of Goon fame; but probably better looking.
ReplyDeleteSpot on, Cro, spot on...
Delete"You dirty rotten swine...
now you've deaded me"...
slips through little hole in middle of record...
splash!
Do you know, Eccles?
...etc!!
Wee soul... he looks as though he already knows what a hard old world this can be. I'm sure you lighten his days immensely.
ReplyDeleteJohn lightens everyone's days.
DeleteHe had a happy childhood though didn't he?..must have just been a thoughtful moment.
ReplyDeleteHe had an idyllic childhood lib

ReplyDeleteEven at that young age, he looks like he doesn't suffer fools gladly, John. xx
ReplyDeleteHe never has
Deletehehehe. Inside smiler. I like that.
ReplyDeleteCheeks like a hamster's packed full of grain (or possibly digestive biscuits).
ReplyDeleteWhereas in the sidebar photo of March 6th 2015 it's your cheeks that seem loaded.
Please forgive my cheek.
