Damn - we didn't get down this year, too much other stuff on recently I decided on a quiet weekend. Broadstairs was always our favourite seaside sortie when I was growing up. I think my Dad considered it a bit more up market from Margate! On my wife's 18th birthday we went there - I made her buy me a pint in the pub up on the top by the steps... how telling I thought that the most important thing she should do that day
