Old Girl

My old girl is poorly.
The xray showed some sort of  mass on her liver
Her bloodwork may support this.
I've already said no to any surgical input, so it's a change of antibiotics (!)
and a case of watching if things will change in the short term.
She's eaten some chicken but only because the other dogs were begging for it
and now she's asleep.

They break your heart

  17. At least she's sleeping peacefully. Has this come on suddenly? I remember she was having bowel issues. Hopefully the medicine will help her rally. Give her an extra tickle for me.

  18. Yes, they break your heart. What makes us go through this, again and again? Is it something totally right or wrong with our human condition?

Sweet Megs, at least she ate a bit. I could cry.

  74. In a nearby heartspace with my own Missy. She's 14, refusing all food now - not a good sign in a cat. Went to the Vet's about noontime, but they're closed until 3:30 pm. I plan to be there with her when the door re-opens.
