It's only seven weeks or so until
THE TRELAWNYD FLOWER SHOW
So please start sending photos of your novelty vegetable

All entries will be hung in the Memorial Hall and judged by our NATIONALLY RENOWNED
veg judge on the day of the show!
The first and second placed photos will be sent a certificate and a rosette award
Oh by the way all bloggers can enter any other class in the show
The arts and crafts and photo competition have always been popular with bloggers in the past

ReplyDeleteNo its a fun class so as many as you like.......the villagers loved the " international " nature of last year's entries

DeleteWow, so I can enter one of my flower photos as well as the novelty veg contest? I once grew a water lily in a container pond and a photo of it was selected for a calendar. I would love to enter it!

How big of a file size do you want the photos, John? Right now my camera is making them HUGE and I cannot figure out how to change the settings, I have to mess with them on the computer to make them manageable and not kill all my G's for the month.

L ast summer we had the war here so between bomb shelter and alarms i forgot the potatos long time in the fridge and got wonderful potato for the picture, this year i dont know. must think more creative.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even going to try. Last year's standards were so high that I wouldn't stand a chance. Anyway, you know what you would get from me...

ReplyDeleteI'm not feeling very innovative or competitive this year. I will have a look in the fridge drawer and see if I can be inspired!
ReplyDeleteI doubt I'll have funny veg (but you never know), but I can enter the 'normal' veggie classes if things decide to grow properly for me.

DeleteI think Tony and I need to retire to Trelawnyd. Then I will enter everything and be totally inspired by all the other entries. That is about ten years from now so don't hold your breath :-)
