The Walking Dead Episode 14 Spend ( spoilers)

Revolving Door disaster...Noah bites the dust

Oh dear.......The Walking Dead has killed off it's third black male character in series 5 which has got all the PC brigade all a quivering
Admittedly killing off Bob, Tyreese and now the rather likable and potentially interesting character of young Noah ( in the most brutal and blood thirsty way) seems all a bit too much but I suspect , I understand just why that has happened, for I believe that the producers needed to cull some black faces to make space for Morgan to return to the " team family" ....I hope that is not the case as it means that the series is becoming ever so slightly formulaic
OMG only two more episodes to go!

    1. Boy, am I slow! I have been racking my brain for a reason for the M. I keep forgetting Morgan.

    2. Well it's an M from one direction but could be a W from another and there are those that think it's either the Wolves or the Whisperers....

  2. But when they get "killed off" are they not still walking, as in "walking dead"? (I know, perhaps I should watch an episode instead of asking stupid questions).

    1. Ah... so they are still walking.

      Thanks

      Saves me watching.

  3. It could have been any of the lesser characters as one had to die (they put at least 4 of them in the spotlight to get killed off) so that Rick and Glen will have a "noble cause" to spur them into challenging the Alexandria leadership. I am still trying to work out how Morgan is going to catch up with the when they have traveled 500 miles since you last saw him!

The Walking Dead has never shied away from holes in the narrative
The map left by Abe and found by Morgan will lead him to Alexandria...
I hope Deanna, her hubby, francine and Aaron survive to join the group

  4. I was so afraid someone would spoil the show for you. I am very careful.

My oldest grandson has only recently become a fan since I gifted him the first four seasons. He won't even let me talk to him about until he catches up.

  5. That picture perfectly illustrates why I can't watch the show! So many people tell me its brilliant and I'd love it, then I see a picture like that and just think nope, nope, nope!

    2. I don't know/watch any of those you mentions, but I'm guessing they're pretty gory too?! I can cope with non-horror violence on TV, but zombies equals no sleep. EVER.

  6. Pity they didn't cull the pastor, but I guess it can't all be rosy on team Rick.

  7. This is the one and only episode I've ever watched. All I could think was, why didn't the other one turn around and shoot the poor guy? And the other one? Leaving them to be eaten alive was a bit selfish.

  8. OMG, poor Noah! Even I who will watch operations on tv had to look away, I couldn't even look at Glens face. But, it does annoy me this whole zombie flesh eating thing - something dead does not need nourishment? If they just killed, that would seem plausible?

  9. I don't remember Morgan,,, or was he the chap at the end of the last series that seemed to be 'following' them?

    1. Yes, Morgan is the black man dressed in the goggles & military garb that has been periodically seen tracking the group since the end of season 4. Morgan & his son were the 1st people Rick stayed with briefly when season 1 started. He didn't go with Rick because he decided to stay behind to try & shoot his wife who had become a Walker. Rick promised to call Morgan every morning on a radio set they found. Months later Rick went back to his hometown & ran into a rather deranged Morgan, His Walker wife had bitten his son because he couldn''t bring himself to shoot her. Now he is tracking Rick & seems to have morphed into a Walker Warrior.
