"I'll admit I may have seen better days,
but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,
like a salted
Now that's my kind of picturex
Reflective of my post today......XOWWW
Love this picture.
Boy, you two really look alike in the firelight!Of course Winifred is very beautiful for a bulldog, but I have to admit you're quite handsome dear John. (old gals can say things like that you know!).Lovely pic - requires framing definitely.Make a nice gift for someone special in your life.Hugs - Mary
You are both very handsome beasts.
Irresistible hairy face...Winnie!
I would love to be somewhere warm!
Two gorgeous critters you both are. xx
Winnie looks so near to being asleep! Very cute picture.
Great photo :)Twiggy
Aaaw! Winnie is so photogenic...Er.... and so are you.
It was just a thoughtful post tinged by sadness . One never know what will or has happened. Plus an overcast winder day puts one in an introspect mood.Winnie is just so sweet and is showing you how much she loves what you did by opening your home to her. She lurves you.Is the banana still on the floor ?cheers, parsnip
hahah the banana (green moon) is on my floor. I am so dense !
aw isnt she cute
I'm glad you're the one with the glasses... aren't you?
Lie down down with a bulldog to make yourself look young!
Em... Perhaps the bulldog was lying down there to make her look young, and pretty, actually.(All this "lovely, handsome John" stuff needs some dispassionate balance)
I think Winnie LOVES you, John!!this is sweet.
Did the trick........I'm sleepy.
The last post reminded me of Wordsworth's poem ODE in which he wrote "in the primal sympathy, what having been must ever be." Nothing better than cuddling with a dog.
Awwwww ...... So cute .... Both of you :-)
A couple of cuddleupaguses......... or would that be cuddleupagi? The world may never know.
Gosh, and oh how cosy you both look. I could do with a little roast in front of your fire at the moment as it is quite chilly here this evening. Of course we could put the electric fire on but we don't, so I shall be off to my electrically blanketed bed shortly, thinking of your lovely fire meanwhile.........!
I thought your last post was really something quite special.
The perfect couple.
All that is needed is a cup of hot chocolate and a dog treat.
Aw...look at that velvety head...Winnie's, that is.
Very cute and sweet, both of you xx
Why are your Bulldogs alway so cute, pretty and lovable? Winnie is just the sweetest little thing. As we say here in the south, she's so sweet I just want to mash her! Of course, you're sweet too John!
Took a little while to work out which is which - but then the clue was the specs. (And when will YOU have to start wearing them, JG?)
John, what an exquisite photograph. That dog really adores you doesn't she? It would make a jolly good Christmas card.
Parrots are far less heavy than bulldogs. You are going to do your shoulder in carrying Winnie around like that. And I bet she can't say "Pretty Polly!" over and over again.
Ah, as my mother would say, "A face only a mother could love." (But I don't agree... I think anyone would find you cute... and of course Winnie.)
That is the most wonderful face ever!!! I love that girl!
She is a darlin' but then you are too.
Difficult to know who is enjoying the chill out time most!
I love comments and will now try very hard to reply to all of themPlease dont be abusive x
