Cameron's first draft of the official Flower Show Poster |
Now
The Trelawnyd Flower Committee is in some dire need of a technology update. We have a new secretary (me), a new Treasurer, a new honorary chairperson. We have fairly new signage, An updated and colourful website and we have Chris throwing him into the breech like Audie Murphy in a WW2 foxhole to man Auntie Glad's stall, but what we are lacking on the committee, is a computer expert school boy who can design posters and come up with trouble shooting ideas at the drop of a hat .
Luckily the Flower Show Committee has now conscripted it's youngest member. A secondary school student by the name of Cameron. With him we now number a slightly worrying but definitely healthy 13 souls!
(Incidentally the age gap between the oldest and youngest member is an incredible 82 years!)
It's never too early for succession planning.i always think
The poster is striking. Cameron is a keeper, I think.

ReplyDeleteI love it. So bright and cheery! And what a fantastic cross slice of village life, an 82 year gap.
ReplyDeleteThis is unfortunately redolent of a club I formed and the original members have yawned off and now my trusty ADC, who will not, due to travel be participating in the event, has to breach (breech?) the ever widening gap of my fled fellows.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your 13.

ReplyDeleteGood Evening Mr Chairman/Secretary (have you seen that film 'The Secretary' with James Spader and whats-her-name?It's very hot and funny at the same time). I have a query about entries for this year's Flower Show. The schedule seems to imply only one entry per entrant. Could you clarify?
ReplyDeleteNo nana . It's one entry per class number only
DeleteYou can enter as many classes as you like
Does that make sense?
