Bonnie & Clyde are alive and living in Trelawnyd
George has now taught Winnie to steal eggs
It's a case of Monkey see, monkey do
I noticed the pair up to no good over in a patch of nettles and knowing that one of the geese had
Constructed a make shift nest there, I grabbed the ipad to record what the two
unlikely egg thieves were up to
Oooo dear …. they all look as guilty as Hell …. especially Winnie !!!! XXXX
ReplyDelete….. although, the guilt didn't stop her from woofing it down. She takes after you John and your love of Scotch eggs !! XXXX
DeleteShe prefers the goose eggs... Hens eggs are too small for her big mouth
DeleteI am sure she is terrified she'd swallow one whole
I love the fact they know to scuttle off away from the prying eyes of "de management" before devouring...
ReplyDeleteMy dog grabs em.. runs like hell into the house.. then settles on the only good rug in the house to break the snotty contents open!..she has been known to do a grab and run with four consecutive eggs (never cracking them until finding the good rug to settle on)
At least she experiences guilt
DeleteAnd we are not even catholic!
DeleteBest comment ever!
Deletewinnie is the cutest thief i have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteShe has experienced so many NEW things since she came to us
DeleteWalking on the road, car rides, hens, sheep, egg stealing and prawn crackers
It must be hard to be stern with her for that very reason.
DeleteA fine turn of speed with her ill-gotten gains too.
ReplyDeleteShe moves like a fat whippet does she not
DeleteI have to say that was very endearing - do you remember the 'cooked sausage race' in 'One Man and His Dog'?
ReplyDeleteI am YOUTUBING THIS SHORTLY
DeleteShe can shift when she wants to..little tinker.
ReplyDeleteJane x
For a big lass...she's impressive eh?
DeleteWhat a pair.
ReplyDeleteNo guilt there. Well, maybe just a little.
ReplyDeleteBlimey she can't half move!!!
ReplyDeleteThe video made me laugh. Wonderfully naughty Winnie!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Janie.. She does look like Buster Keaton does she not?
DeleteBuster Keaton combined with Winston Churchill.
DeletePoor Winnie....trying to hide with sinful egg....that girl is just too adorable ....love her !

ReplyDeleteWrong dog. I thought George looked at you in a worried way at the crime being committed.
ReplyDeleteYep! 3 monkeys there, and boy can she run!
ReplyDeleteI think she loves living with all of you!
Bless xxx
At least they shared it! TOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute thief!
ReplyDeleteOh dear your egg sales are going to go down John! You will have to send Winnie out to work, now what could she do!?!
ReplyDeleteIt is not good to spy, John, as we find out things we don't want to know.
ReplyDeleteMy first dog, Hamlet, used to travel about 300 metres each morning to steal 2 eggs for his breakfast. My 'very understanding' neighbour only revealed this to me after poor Hamlet had passed away.
ReplyDeleteLove that! I think I would have told you sooner!
DeleteCro, what a good story! And what a nice neighbour.
DeleteShared it after she'd gotten her favorite part! Good that you have so many eggs so you don't miss a few. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I know I shouldn't laugh but I really couldn't help it they are just so sweet :-)
ReplyDeletelovable partners in crime !
ReplyDeleteLittle buggers!
ReplyDeleteBetter the eggs and not the poultry you think? She can't be hungry surely?
ReplyDeleteI never realised dogs did such things, the dogs that we had obviously led very sheltered lives
ReplyDeletemy dad used to throw a egg to our dog each day 9times out of 10 she would catch them without breaking it go under the tree and eat it
ReplyDeleteCheeky monkeys!
ReplyDeleteNaughty but very funny!
ReplyDeleteShe's a gorgeous girl. I loved the way she laughed with you.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and they keep you endlessly entertained.
ReplyDeleteMy Scotty thehamish can be very naughty at times... no eggs to find but lots of lizards to chase and dismember !
ReplyDeleteI answered your question on my Monday post... it is a skylight.
cheers, parsnip
Your dogs have a wonderful life. Winnie certainly landed on all four fat feet when she ended up with you and Chris!
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh. When i saw Winnie running, i thought she was going to return the egg, rather than settle down and find a good place to eat it. I have a lot to learn, i see.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, you can just send them out to get their own breakfast from now on then :-)
ReplyDeleteWith Rosy the Jack Russell eating at least one egg a day as well as a rabbit and the cat eating half a rabbit a day we are saving a fortune on pet food!!
My she has quite the shimmy LOL
