A slightly different and rather quite moving  episode of Sherlock tonight as Watson get married, Sherlock is the  best Man and murder attempts materialise during the reception......
Writer Gatiss wrong foots the audience yet again............it's a cracking episode

  9. Some class writing going on and some fab acting. They packed a helluva lot into1.5 hours.

  10. I find these programmes difficult to keep up with at times, especially when Holmes is talking fast, and words are crashing about on the screen, but it all seems to come together in the end! Really enjoyed it after the rather slow start. ( why does my pup always ask to go out at critical moments though? )

    1. I missed it!I heard an interview that Dan Snow gave on Radio Scotland last week about his adventure and apparently they all but got into fisticuff fights by the end of it, it was so dangerous on the river at times and the American guides just did not get the British sense of humour at all!

  15. There's some nepotism going on...Sherlock's parents in the first episode are actually Benedicts in real life, and Dr Watson's new wife is his real life partner!

  17. I was bawling by the end (well, not exactly bawling but tearful at any rate!)for I know how he must have felt at the wedding reception and then going home by himself. I wonder if they'll introduce a love interest for him now that the good Doctor's found love?Nothing's impossible or improbable with Sherlock.
