  6. We could all write a list like that today John with this awful weather. I hereby command that you sit down and write a plus list to counteract this woeful lot.
As for Winnie, I agree with Jaz - a boxful of baby Winnies would be adorable and bulldogs fetch a lot of money (to good homes of course)
    - enough to find you a dozen hair groomers for Welsh terriers (who are adorable by the way and often don't get a look in on your blog now that that Winifred has come along.)

  9. When Lulu was in season I solved the problem by cutting a strategically placed hole in a pair of Nick's old M&S pants for her tail so she could wear them with a panty liner. She didn't seem to mind and it was better than me having to follow her around with a damp sponge in my hand.
You can of course buy a similar set of kit from Pets At Home at huge expense.

  10. What are you going to do with a scotch egg that will keep the dog from coming into heat?

  11. I just finished sending an email to a friend moaning about feeling like I'm living out a scene of groundhog day. I get up, eat my oatmeal, go out and pick up poo (horse, dog, and barncat), tidy the house, cook dinner, and get up the next morning and do it all over again. Then I read your blog - yes vomited mouse and dog in season trumps my moan. I spat out some oatmeal on my laptop screen when I read the mouse bit. Again thanks for laugh and cheering me up. A scotch egg should do the trick.

  13. I recommend kiddy pants for Winnie. When Kimi our Yorkie had his nuts off and wouldn't leave the stitches alone I bought a 6 pack from a well known supermarket for a few quid, cut a hole for his tail and volia! Problem solved. He's never forgiven me of course

  18. I had my Ginger spayed right after she started heat for the first time. So glad I did.....not only is there no mess to clean, but I didn't like the way she moped around when she was bleeding.

Are your males neutered? If not I bet they're an annoyance right now!
