The Queen has her official photograph paraded around the internet at Christmas, so this old Queen will have his....... This is the official post Christmas day photograph at Bwthyn Y Llan

ReplyDeleteBrilliant photo - just wonderful. (I wonder if The Queen shares her bed with the corgis?)

ReplyDeleteThink yourself lucky you can't see his gorgeous nuts.
DeleteI just KNEW you'd pop up with that one!
DeleteI can't believe I'm using this word, but that photo is precious.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Although I must say that you and Winnie have the same expression on your faces....
ReplyDeleteyou and Winnie both look pleased beyond measure...nothing like a happy family to make the holidays...
ReplyDeleteLove it! You and Winifred look extremely happy....enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteJust makes you feel happy looking at it!
ReplyDeleteBless you all!
Would you look at the big fat smile on that bulldog.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome!
DeleteBut look at all those beautiful dogs with you!!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! You need king-sized bed, my friend.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly.
DeleteHe's just go out and find more animals to fill it.
Deletecoolest pic of all!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteand just look at the size of winifred!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! You do need a king size bed for sure! Where's Albert?
ReplyDeletePerfect Photo, John ! Merry Christmas to you, Chris & the Menagerie from us here North of Wiarton & the Checkerboard Aussies. xx
ReplyDeleteThat's next year's christmas card sorted then....
ReplyDeletelololol.......brilliant!........and all the dogs looking the same way.
ReplyDeleteThis is just about the funniest pic you've yet posted. When it came up I shrieked like a big Nelly, waking up nearby Blackso. The look on your face alone is worth a million - and as for Winnie's, well hers is just priceless. Oh, my sides! (I'm going to 'save' this pic for my 'Blog Treasures' file!)
ReplyDeleteLove that George is front and center !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
I second the motion that Winnie looks well pleased with life!! Great photo and all the best for 2014.
ReplyDeleteBarb
love that the dogs are all under the covers! Loving the bedstead!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo,, one for the album, John!
ReplyDeleteWot! No little piggies gone to market? The rest of you are mighty comely.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely photograph! You DO need a goat in there too. We love to snuggle. Unfortunately if I was to snuggle in there with you I'd butt all the dogs OFF. Tee hee. xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteWho could be a Republican in the presence of such majesty *bows* (To Winnie of course!)
ReplyDeleteBest picture of 2013!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSah-weet!
ReplyDeleteThis photo would make an excellent Seasonal Greetings card. Think about it John. The whole world would be able to see what we can right now. It's brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Albert?
ReplyDeleteAnd your photo is much, much more interesting than the 'official' portrait. And shows a whole lot more love too.
I love this photo. Everyone looks so happy.
ReplyDeleteVery heartwarming photo! Season's Greetings to you. :)
ReplyDeleteWinifred's expression says it all ........ Happpiness is .......
ReplyDeleteI love the royals, but think your "official portrait" is much more fun!
ReplyDeleteCheers to you all.
Fantastic picture :-)
ReplyDeleteIf Winnie were to swell with one more ounce of pride at being part of your family, she would burst. I love the way she is making goo goo eyes at Chris as he takes the photo. Lovely group portrait to commemorate Winnifreds' first Christmas as part of the family. I hope everyone enjoys Boxing Day.
ReplyDeleteoh look at you and your hairy babies!... Merry Christmas darling xx
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that photo. I'd like to print it out and frame it. It makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
A truly glorious sight. x
ReplyDeleteFab photo! I just love how happy Winifred looks. She loves her new family, doesn't she. George is pretty perky, too! I understand why Winifred has her own bed, she occupies a fair bit of space! But you do need a king size bed, methinks.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking you don't have enough dogs!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell a person by their dogs. Once again, I say, you have a large heart.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments..... Winnie WAS smiling at the camera.....she does so try to win chris over at every opportunity
ReplyDeleteWilliam looks like grommit....does he not?
70 - 80 mile an our winds have hit trelawnyd this evening!
This is so ..... YOU! I like it so much I had an impulse to use it short-term as my desktop image.
ReplyDeleteOnly short term?
DeleteAll right. Until the tenth puzzled glance from someone.
DeleteThat's the kind of Christmas-Photo-Card that you should send to Buckingham palace! You are looking quite majestic with all your 'subjects' around you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture! Winny looks quite pleased.
ReplyDeleteStay safe with that wind!
What a lovely cosy bundle of fur. Vx
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to imagine anything more cheerful than that photo. Although I have a twelve-pound cat that prevents me from so much as rolling over in bed, so I think I'll forgo the fuzz brigade, myself.
ReplyDeleteNever mind how cute five in a bed look. What I want to know: Why is that frame not dead centre above the bedsted? And who chose the wallpaper? And where - or rather how - does Chris fit into your sleeping arrangement? Also, I admire - not for the first time - your pristine bedding. Talk about a white Christmas and optimism.
ReplyDeleteOther than that my life is getting more and more complicated. Good job you and one or two who shall remain unnamed are not in the market. Otherwise I might forget myself. On the eve of my last wedding (1982) I swore that that would be the last time of me tying any knot short of going sailing. I don't have many principles I stick to like Superglue but do endeavour to be as good as my word. Still, John, as I have said before and no strings attached, if you need a milk parlour maid (come to think of it:Why haven't you adopted any cows yet?) or someone to collect eggs I am all yours. My scramble to die for.
May all our (and Albert's) last few days of 2013 be happy ones.
Affectionately,
Ursula
Lol
ReplyDeleteThe frame is a watercolour of a country church
Painted circa 1920
The wallpaper is from Laura Ashley and is called ( I think) old rose
I picked it..
I wanted a faded " 1940s " look
As for the bedding Ursula......it's NOT as pristine as the photo may suggest
X
Winifred is doing a great job of impersonating Winston :-)!
ReplyDeleteA photo in a million. I love the way the Scottie hogs center stage. xxx BTW Where is Albert?
ReplyDeleteIs Winifred moonlighting in Eastenders now? Under the name of Lady Di?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you andrew
DeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photo..... You're blessed!!!
