I got hooked watching this show this past weekend when there was a weekend marathon leading up to the new season premiere! It's all your fault!! It does have a very good story line, but I totally dislike all the blood and gore and violence. Very scary! I never liked zombie movies after watching "The Night of the Living Dead" at a drive-in movie years ago when I was ... at a very young age! We didn't have central air conditioning then and it was summer and the windows were always open at night! I don't think I slept at all for 2 weeks! I didn't watch all of the new season premiere. I will catch it later. What little bit I watched wasn't as good as the old episodes to me, but l didn't watch the entire show so maybe I missed the good parts! I hope you enjoy it!!! Is this the last season? I think I read somewhere that it was.
No, he doesn't need to wash his hair. Thats part of the charm. Cannot wait for the new series. But who is going to die in this one? Rick? Carol? Annoying blonde daughter that sings, ponytail dad? So many choices.
I just finished watching last season's episodes. I had forgotten how funny Merle could be. Poor Daryl, I actually felt sorry for him when his brother died.
I didn't like the last season and was not going to bother with season 4, but I watched it on Monday and it was actually pretty good. Here's hoping they keep it up!
I may try it again....last year it was all so monotonous.....chasing and lopping heads off over and over again.....but I guess that's what it's all about eh?
Here in the US the season premiere was last Sunday night. I think you'll love the first episode! It sets up a lot of interesting story lines for the rest of the season.
You'll LOVE it! The first episode was wicked good!
ReplyDeleteWetting myself cathy x
DeleteAre there any zombie dogs in the first episode?
ReplyDeletePawsitive wishes,
Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar!
Like in I AM LEGEND.?
ReplyDeleteI don't do zombies..yet. I keep hearing everyone go on and on and I'm feeling a bit left out. Should I just jump in? Is there still time?
ReplyDeleteDonna Jump in...... Both feet........... Do it....... Now x
DeleteI don't do zombies, but I will agree, shampoo and a bath would really make him even more appealing. :-)

Can't wait to hear your reaction. We here in the states only have 3 days until the second episode, not that I'm rubbing it in, LOL.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your zombies, it was, as Cathy said, wicked good!
I hope you like the first episode of the new season as much as we did; I did not know when you would see it, glad to hear it will air soon.
ReplyDeleteYou're up late - I'm up too early! I've never fancied watching it but I fancy watching him so maybe I will (watch it/him). Enjoy.x

Enjoy can't wait to hear your opinions. I personally am perplexed how year old dead are getting "juicier".

ReplyDeleteI haven't the foggiest notion what you lot are talking about!
ReplyDeleteWith your gentle sensibilities you are much better off not knowing
DeleteNow you've got me intrigued. But I'm going to take your implied advice and remain in virginal ignorance.
DeleteI'm freaking over the weird red eyes zombie Rick noticed at the prison fence. Then it gets worse when the Harry Potter looking kid dies in the shower.
ReplyDeleteJoe's loving it x

ReplyDeleteNo, he doesn't. Daryl with fluffy hair??? Nah.
ReplyDelete(Spoiler alert)
He does get called "Pookie" though. I laughed out loud.
It's because of you that we're up to episode 4 on series three and loving it! Do you think you'd survive?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but I just don't get this zombie thing at all, have decided I'm too old! Have no intention of watching ever. Much too scary for old ladies!
ReplyDeleteNot my bag; but hope you enjoy it! ... :0)

ReplyDeleteDaryl looks alright to me ..... I should be so lucky !!!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteI am kind of late commenting, but hope you enjoyed the first episode.
ReplyDeleteEVERYONE needs a good wash, color, shave, and some clean clothes. Even the zombies could do with something.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby watches this show regularly.
