Thirteen years.
It has just shot by
Chris, like many blogger spouses, is a somewhat shadowy figure in Going Gently. Readers hear about him in passing so to speak, but specifics and details are not generally forthcoming......he remains comfortably " in the wings" out of all this Internet " lark" and it is a fact he is grateful for.
Thirteen years!
He's a lucky sod!
Congratulations Earl! All I can think is that Chris must be an exceptionally tolerant guy. Either that or he's doing a longterm academic study about eccentricity with you as the main research focus!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the Anniversary! The flowers are beautiful; very thoughtful of Chris to give them to you. But you are always bringing gifts to your relationship - ducks, hens, bunnies and the latest one being the Wonderful Winifred, a gift beyond measure. As you so eloquently put it - he's a lucky sod!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. May those thirteen years continue to multipy.
ReplyDeletehappy anniversary; may your love continue to grow!
ReplyDeletemy spouse gets a mention from time to time on my blog and a hyperlinky; but he has his own blog anyway.

ReplyDeleteHe surely looks like a shadowy character from what we get to read here. But I am sure he is not like that at all. After all, he is your choice.
Happy anniversary, you two!!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to your two lucky selves.
ReplyDeleteAt least he has a name! I refer to 'partner' but am thinking of adopting Tom's 'HI' tag. 14 years for us....terrifying.

ReplyDeleteHappsy Pappsy, John. Let no one tell either of you that you don't have stamina. If that sounds slightly off it's because I am off this minute. I wish someone would offload their dog on me. I'd call it Othello. This offer expires at midnight 26 Sept 2013.

ReplyDeleteHappy 13th Anniversary, it's been a lucky number in our family for years. I hope this next year is wonderful for you both.
ReplyDeleteOur other halves do lurk in the background of our blogs don't they with only the odd photo to prove they actually do exist. LH will come out in all his glory once he retires from the 'day job' and becomes a pig farmer, or maybe he should just remain LH :-)
