A poncho.....a plastic poncho

The new Welsh Caped Crusader? Congratulations on the Prize winning veg
Thank you Penelope x
It has taken a few moments to recover myself after I snorted into my tea when I spied the photo! c'est très magnifique! and definitely NOT what I was expecting when I scrolled down!
I hope to god you have clothes on underneath that. The Crocs set it off a treat :oD
Nothing says 'I love you' like an item of waterproof apparel.....my OH gave me The Ultimate Waterproof Trousers for my 50th birthday last year.....I was hoping for jewellery.....still......it rains a lot here......it's the gift that keeps on giving.....(sigh)....
The 'tipi' element is missing from the front. but other than that, it suits you.
are you supposed to wear that when you hose down your feet?
Looks like a great poncho for wet weather, John!Hope you both enjoy your weekend! :-)
Now you are ready for anything!!
na na na na na ns na na na na na na na na na na BATJOHN!
Yep, that'll scare the crows..
Just saw the tiny picture on the blog list.First thought? Why is he dressed up as a blue condom!!!
Ditto..I thought "French" was a clue!Jane x
Hmmmmm. The Hurricane went to France and got a little Eiffel Tower for me, along with some other pretty things. I've never received a large piece of plastic as a gift, but if it makes you happy, then good for you.
It suits you! Little Blue Riding Hood! Just tell Trelawnyd parents to keep their kiddies indoors when you approach! Don't want them to be traumatised!
Did he buy one for himself as well? Just wondering....
It is a thing of beauty. My Canadian Cousin has just given the boys similar ponchos with Niagara Falls printed on the back - so I know they're cool!
I thought you were a sperm in one of those animated sex ed films.
You look like a Super Hero !A thoughtful gift from Chris :)~Jo
It sort of looks like scrubs for a caped crusader.
It reminds me of the abused prisoners at the Abe Grabe prison.
I think you need to smile more. Especially wearing that géant bleu cerf-volant.Pawsitive wishes,Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! :)
I thought some sort of starfish costume at first! LOL!
It might make a good tarp for one of the coops on a rainy day.
Well, it's probably better than a tee shirt...and he did bring you a gift
I think it's a fine, practical, thoughtful gift. Yes, my wife once asked me for a load of bricks on our anniversary, which I remembered and delivered. Main thing is it's a gift!
What do you mean: What do I think? I can't think and laugh at the same time.A thoughtful present. Classy. As shower caps go a little over the top. Whoever styled that shot: Well done. Not only are YOU blue (as am I - not least as this is the man I am in love with), your surroundings nicely colour coordinated too.Mwah,U
I once owned a used American GI version of that; it was essential in Wales.
You know those shoes that were wrongly delivered to you........Just to complete the ensemble.
He was obviously in Normandy.
Shock and awe.
Perfect. Suits you sir.
Blinding with extraterrestrial beauty!
Have you spoken to him yet? After all he was in France....there was wine, cheese, bread, ......and apparently a sale in the local milletts.....although it is a thoughtful gift for where you live and he does love you .....mmmm.
Are you sure that's not a super-sized French letter you're wearing - you know, the size above 'stallion'. Probably a bit leaky for THAT purpose, though.
Hmph! All I had from my sister when she returned from her recent trip to the Jura was a bottle of white Burgundy, swizz!
You do know it's been the driest July for years, right?
I read your blog everyday and very, very rarely comment. However, I am sitting in the garden with a cup of tea, howling with laughter. Neighbour has just looked over the fence to check all is well and I showed her the picture. Her comment - 'kinky'!A brilliant start to my day, thankyou, you wonderful man..xxx
I can't tell you how disappointed I was, that your gift was not a stripy tee shirt and a beret!
Very fetching. I always love the term 'French Leave' - and also used to wonder whether it was on these occasions that you sent 'French Letters'.
That is quite a fashion statement!
Here`s me panicking about a photo of me finally being shown on someone`s blog and here`s you bedecked in plastic for all to see! Where on earth did Chris find it!!
At least you can use it to waterproof your windows if they need extra protection during the next violent storm! But I do love the color - goes well with your crocs and surroundings.Nancy in Iowa
what a wonderfully fantastic gift :) love the ankles...showing rather a lot of leg there aren't you :D :D :D
Precisely where he shoulda left it......en France! You do know that you're completely bonkers? In the nicest possible way, naturellement!!Bonne Nuit.x
It's a gift xxx
Sorry, I can't stop laughing!
