It's a late pointless sort of entry today.
By the time I got home after work, locked the animals up safely for the night , walked the dogs, washed the dishes and collected a fish and chip supper ( I know I know!)I KNOW....!
It was ( and IS) a quarter to ten.
Time for some cultured relaxation with Jane Austin and Classic FM?
Nawwww....
I have settled down to watch a crappy tv documentary entitled Finding Bigfoot
Well my usual pleasure that is CHOPPER COPPERS isnt on tonight

ReplyDeleteA big bowl of popcorn plus a movie like "Battleship" (played the game with my kids, love the graphics and the aliens) I love sci-fi. I can't wait for "Pacific Rim".
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Who's this Australian anaesthetist that Adam's grandma (and mother!) has set their sights on? Haha. Hope she wasn't too much of a pain for you today ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have missed him... The unit got all busy just after you left... Your gran in law Was a delight
DeleteWell apparently he was a hottie, but knowing them he was probably a bit of a minger, lol.
DeleteP.S. My guilty pleasure is 90210, the remake!
ReplyDeleteWanking in the library.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt in the BIG PRINT section
DeleteShort story.
Deletewell, as long as i's not in the kiddies section, it's fine by me
DeleteI've been known to abandon friends in the street and follow a cigar smoking man for the pleasure of inhaling the glorious aroma.
ReplyDeleteYou freak!
DeleteLol xxx
Susan, I know where you're coming from. :)
DeleteJohn, if you ever come over for an American barn, I will introduce you to our neighbor who will, on a good night, show you Sasquatch prints in his woods. My brother-in-law claims to have seen them, too.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone you know actually seen one Joanne?
DeleteI know my neighbor and he claims to have seen Sasquatch come through his ten acre wood. That's all I know. Over and out.
DeleteGail
DeletePlease do tell

DeleteHere's the link to my last tale. I have heard more tales but these are the ones I know for sure.
All along I've thought your guilty pleasure was Scotch Eggs.... As for my own, I sneak chocolate (preferable dark and semi-sweet) out of the fridge. Not sure why I try to use such stealth... Bill doesn't care and he can no doubt smell chocolate on my breath... Guess TV or movies are a lot less fattening....
ReplyDeleteOnly two a week now....... I need more guilty pleasure than just two eggs!
DeleteNow I am watching some more shit called SKY COPS
DeleteEating tuna sandwiches whilst watching Jeremy Wades River Monsters!
ReplyDeleteJo xx
Mantracker, GhostHunters and coffee.
ReplyDeleteOne of the more interesting wildlife sightings I have has called in to work was a Sasquatch siting...the fellow was pretty shook up! I figured it was a burly bearded logger....
ReplyDeleteYour "usual pleasure"? I thought that would be "Scotch Eggs - The Movie" starring Ewan McGregor as the egg and Sean Connery as the sausage meat.
ReplyDeletehome improvement shows like Property Brothers...nothing
ReplyDeletelike a sweaty man with a tool belt...as for the food...cheese popcorn...or chips/salsa
My guilty pleasure, reading your blog and watching ANYTHING with Reece Dinsdale in the credits.
ReplyDeleteJane x
Young and Restless!
ReplyDeleteLet me see.....I'll get back to you John.
ReplyDeleteThat would be to tease people!!
DeleteMy guilty pleasure is ice-cream with chocolate sauce and reality television to name only two!
ReplyDeletePS: Good luck with "Scotch egg-rehab!!" I'd still love to try one, even if it is 12 points, I have a feeling they are worth every one!!
That magnificent hairy creature, no, not me, is named, "Sasquatch". I should know, I met one in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada. Yes, I did, eh.
ReplyDeleteMy guilty pleasure is counting your comment total....
Gary :)
watch my "tv" via computer and Hulu...right now I'm watching Star Trek Voyager...for the first time! Guilty pleasure? UK mysteries...I've pretty much watched all the really good ones straight through (several times)...I could still watch "Midsomer" and "Foyle's War" again though, heck I could watch all of them again and again :D
ReplyDeleteAnimated movies. Like Cars, Despicable Me, etc.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Sunday, John!
Blue Bell ice cream and right now Merlin on Netflix
ReplyDeleteIt's 915pm. I am watching Alaskan State Troopers.
ReplyDeleteHaving a post-lunchtime snooze with Judge Judy on TV.
ReplyDeleteGuilty pleasure: watching NCIS repeats and lusting after Mark Harmon while drinking too much red wine.
ReplyDeleteSpringwatch / Autumnwatch and Most Haunted.
ReplyDeleteMy guilty pleasure, 40 minutes each lunchtime over my egg butty watching recorded 'Come Dine with Me'. The commentary guy used to drive me nuts, now I laugh out loud and anticipate his every word ..... yes I know .... I'm sad :-)
ReplyDeleteNeighbours & Home and away - every day !
ReplyDelete'Come Dine With Me'. And this from someone who watches about five hours of tv a week.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Sasquatch - and I live in Borehamwood!
"Finding Bigfoot"? You and paleo would get on just fine.
ReplyDeleteMy guilty pleasure is "Sexy Robot" by The Pinker Tones... I especially like to link to it in comments on other peoples' blogs.
I'm with Sue - Come dine with me and a bag of crisps and wine :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - there's nothing real about them and they haven't done a stroke of housework in years but it's interesting to know that these types live on the same planet as the rest of us!
ReplyDeleteMy guilty pleasure is topping up the wine glass, having a seafood lunch, followed by a fish dinner, followed by more wine all evening. I like that 'guilt' :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a cop prog addict too. (Shhhh!) Nearly every time they clash with something else I want to see (which is very often) they are the ones that will eventually win out.
ReplyDeleteHowever, and just for the record, a current fave is Channel 4's 'Four Rooms'.
One of mine { ....and there are many !! } is 'Road Wars ' and, at this precise moment ( 1.16 p.m Sunday afternoon [ ....HOW BAD IS THAT ?!! } ) I am watching Nik Knowles Original Features !! ..... my excuse is that it's raining and we have men working on our house so I can't do anything { that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it !!!! } XXXX
ReplyDeleteTonight's pleasure, Miss Marple
ReplyDeleteOh please..she's chris' favourite
