I couldn't quite find the " ping pong" scene from Priscilla
( aka my previous post)
but this scene is a memorable stand in..
I just adore Terence Stamp's final one liner
In this movie he always reminds me of my old friend carol
( who is a drug counsellor in Cambridge)
Tee hee
Put that miserable old woman in her place. good job.
ReplyDeleteOh my...and mothers day just around the corner.
Deletethis just might be the funniest thing ever! have you seen kinky boots?
ReplyDeleteI love this movie. I had forgotten about Kinky Boots. Might have to watch that again.
ReplyDeleteBlondes can be smart and sassy :)
ReplyDeleteI really need to watch more movies. :-)
ReplyDeleteHA! That looks like a movie I've gotta see.
ReplyDeleteI cannot understand how I've managed to miss this film.
ReplyDeleteAh, Priscilla how I've missed you! That's my wet and miserable Saturday afternoon cheered up, if I can find the DVD.....someone or other's always borrowing it and forgetting to return it! Have you seen 'Flawless' with Robert DeNiro and Philip Something-Something?and I loved 'Kinky Boots' too.Happy Weekend to you. x
ReplyDeleteI really, really need to watch it. Thank you for the (gentle) nudge.
ReplyDeleteLove this film & want to see the stage show.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I thought your 'ping-pong' was to something else - but maybe it wasn't as I can't remember the particular line from Priscilla.
ReplyDeleteWhat I had in mind was referenced in the 1987 film of Spalding Gray's talk 'Swimming to Cambodia' - where he speaks of "the banana that slid down the wall". If you've seen it you'll remember - if not it's going to sound like I'm talking total gibberish, so forget it.
Love a great comeback!
ReplyDeleteI definitely fell for Terence Stamp in this role - not sure what that says about my - ahem - sexuality.
