I find Caro Emerald all rather lovely
Just on the way out... a local farmer has asked me to "take in"
2 ducks who "could be doing better" whatever that means
I will post a photo of them later.. if I agree to take them
In the meantime enjoy
Mz Caro
Yes, I have a bit of a girl-crush on her myself...
ReplyDeleteWe have a sticky sweet corn syrup over here called "Caro" and when paired with the ducks this post sounded decidedly sinister...glad to see if refers to a person!
ReplyDeleteBetter put out that 'welcome' sign John!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE Caro Emerald!
DeleteFirst: Thanks for the intro to Caro Emerald. I think I'm in love.
ReplyDeleteSecond: "IF" you agree to take them in? I look forward to seeing photos of your two new ducks.
Never heard of her before - until now. I'm highly impressed.
ReplyDeleteI too am a convert .... Real woman that lady be ! ( said in a yoda type voice )
ReplyDeleteOf course you will agree to take them John, after a compliment like that from a farmer.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed Ms. Emerald...classy!!! ah the menagerie increases...hmmmm, I wonder...I have a delightful little dachshund that I'm sure would fit in fabulously with your furred and feathered companions...his name is Baron :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of her either. Thank you - she is a delight. Perhaps the ducks could be called Caro and Emerald if/when you do take them on.
ReplyDeleteHow good you adopted the ducks, and how sad about the young man and his car accident. I hope his journey to recovery is blessed with success. I've read several of your posts, and see that your dogs are cuties. I don't see too many of that breed out here in California.
