Marie Curie

In between dog walking and animal jobs, I have spent most of my day wrapped up watching TV
it's driven me a little batty because the weather has been so lovely
But I still have a temperature and a headache that could flatten an elephant
The above advert for Marie Curie Nurse charity has been playing all week
And it's a powerful and moving little piece of cinema.
Marie Curie will be the charity that will benefit from our open day this year

  1. So sorry you're under the weather. Virtual hugs from 'oop North (and to the right a bit). Angels, those nurses are.

  18. Still processing my mother-in-law's death, I feel especially sensitive to human mortality. Let there be a dog near me when I am out of my head. I can think of no greater comfort (short of massive amounts of morphine).

    Hope you feel better soon.

  22. A wonderful little film, brought a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat, I hope it does lots of good for them.

Not the sort of thing to watch when you're under the weather though, you need to find the Three Stooges or something frothy to watch :-)

That was exquisite...It's amazing how the love never runs out but only gets stronger, given half a chance. I never got tired of watching it, heartbreak and all.

The flu this year has been a nasty one! Maybe the dogs eating you in your dream was just their way of saying how much they love you. Like "I love you so much I could eat you!" Not sure what the toilet was saying to you though... :-)
