Oh you poor thing.....be careful of pneumonia ...so many here have gotten that with a relapse.....a bad one this year...lots of get well thoughts your way.....
You're looking poorly John..... it's always the first day that's the worst, if that's any consolation !!!! Hope that you're feeling better in the morning. XXXX
Oh no...hard to stay in bed while Chris is away and there are animal chores to be done. You have my sympathy and kind thoughts. Wish I could help out with the critters!
Hardly surprising that you have come down with a dose, after leaving the clean air of Wales and going up to the Big Smoke with all the germs of 18 million people around you!
A glass or three of hot vodka at night, plenty of vitamin C, a moderate amount of fresh air and a warm bed.
Yeah, me too. I thought I'd escaped it this year but it seems not, although I did have the Flu jab so maybe it's a heavy cold. Either way, I feel for you being alone and having to keep up with chores. It aint easy. I hope you feel well enough to face it all tomorrow. Sending love x
You, on the other hand...how unfortunate for you that Chris isn't home to pass a soothing hand over your fevered brow and utter comforting nonsense as you drift in and out of sweaty sleep. Who shall nurse the nurse??
Ah well, I wish you a quick recovery. Do think of asking some of the neighbors to help with the Menagerie--don't try to tough this out, you'll only be sick longer!
Dr Cro prescribes Hot Lemon with Honey throughout the day, Beneyln Original at night, and as reading matter 'Jude the Obscure' (it's inbuilt depression seems to work miracles). Get well soon!
dammit! :( get well soon!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I can't see the picture, there's just a blank space. Or perhaps that's how you're feeling thanks to the flu....
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, a lot of that going around. Sleep.
ReplyDeleteYou need two bottles
One to drink from
One to pee in.
Get some rest and stay in bed!
I can't see the image either, but hope you feel lots better very soon!
ReplyDeleteNo picture on this end but I have a good imagination. Chicken soup John and lots of terrier affection. Get well soon.
