That picture is fabulous. Glad you found your voucher, even if it was a little trashy, and ya know, it doesn't matter about the play. Good meal and good company... it doesn't get much better than that.
And I have read such good reports of that play John. Luckily I am not in a place where I could have bought a ticket to see it - your opinion is much better than that of the so-called 'critics'. Is that you in the middle??
Actually, this a family photo taken by a very wealthy gentleman having asked his boys what they wanted to be when they grew up. The tallest boy stated that he wanted to be as rich and famous as his father and earned a pat on the head. The boy on the left explained that he wanted to be so rich and successful, he was going to buy his father out and was awarded shares in his father’s company. The boy in the middle said he wanted to be a farmer so his father has just kicked him the balls and said, ‘Well here’s your first couple of acres…’
Ace review of the play, can’t wait for the one about the restaurant. ‘Aye, t’food was grand, just like our Nora meks at ‘ome AND I got change out a ‘alf a crown! Ead waiter was a dish, out of ten, I'd give 'im one!’
Well I thought the first half was ok if you wanted to see a panto - and it is the season. I'm glad someone else was less than enthusiastic. After all the rave reviews I thought I was missing something.
wait...let me guess...the one on the right, correct? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie......you go it in one x
DeleteYou use a shitey ticket..of course the play will be shite!!
ReplyDeleteJane xx
Can't win them all, John.
ReplyDeleteAt least you got a good meal so it was not a complete waste of your time.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo so, so, so much!
ReplyDeleteSo, he took the ticket of you then? Glad the meal went well at least.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a good meal, at least, John. :o)

ReplyDeleteglad to hear that dinner was well served - and the "hunt" was vindicated! :D
Succinct four word review, well done. I'm glad the meal made up for the play!
ReplyDeleteThe Best picture!!!!! To bad about the play but a good meal and a pint or two usually helps!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell that answers my previous question! If you'd gone to see Meatloaf, you'd at least have got two out of three...
ReplyDeleteSometimes you win, sometimes you lose but if the food is good, the evening was a success.

ReplyDeleteDid the boy in the middle play the Principal Girl?
ReplyDeleteThe one on the left will be a mega business mogel.
ReplyDeleteOr a bus driver.
One of those.
