"I'll admit I may have seen better days,
but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,
"(Margo Channing)
'young frankenstein' what knockers!
I saw Young Frankenstein last night on Sky... I am ashamed to say that I have never seen it before.
Loved every schoolboy humoured bit of it to death
Ps The Berlingo made it through it's MOT with 250 quids worth of help
Wanderlust - indeed! One of our top ten movies. But then our whole family is mad as a box of frogs.
I'm so glad you've discovered it John. I hope it cheered you up.
We have family 'sayings' from most parts of it: 'Abby-someone' is one. 'The hair, darling!' and most used: 'Could be worse, could be raining' (when it's actually raining on a trip etc)
almost as good as Carry On Screaming!! (also one of my favourites) - "do you mind if i smoke?" hahahahah - glad the car survived to drive another day! Doctor Fronk-un-schteeen!
My fave "Stay close to ze candles, the way can be...treacherous" But, the candles aren't lit. I've seen it more times that I can count and every time, I find something I missed before. Great flick. Lane
That's my boy. Young Dracula has some extremely good gay scenes in it as well - pumping the water for the bath is a must.
ReplyDeleteI've seen this movie so many times and love it more each time. A classic.
ReplyDeleteMy internet's that slow it took him 10 minutes to knock the knockers so I gave up in the end. Glad the Belingo passed.
