I protest! A geek is a peculiar or otherwise dislikable person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual. I am not a geek, I am a nerd - a stupid, irritating, ineffectual and unattractive person. But if we nerds had a rumble with you geeks, we'd win!
I love the photos! Your chickens and Canada goose are great too. Isn't "The Walking Dead" the finest zombie series ever? I appreciate it more with every episode.
I just spent FOUR hours trying to get the stupid text to line up with the photos on today's blog post because my stupid computer is running SO slowly and stupid Blogger isn't lining it up automatically.
No 4 would be a little harsh to put on myself, as I only dribble little bits of food on myself on occasion, and I drink Green Tea or Coffee, no Coke ... lol
I won't permit grandchildren to use technology in my house. No phones. No email. No computer games. They have to go out and play. Perhaps they are ruined already.
We have a headstone in my town that has the McDonald arches engraved, along with the word "McDonalds' underneath . . . and the last name isn't McDonald!
I've been known to email my husband.... who's sitting next to me. You know I love the grave marker. How kewl it would be if your life story played on the screen.
Sad geeks we might be John but following your comment on my blog yesterday that you will never feel mother love - I think you feel it in spades for all that gang of feathered and furred things you mother daily.
That grave site gave me an idea...when I die I am going to pass like vapour into my hard drive and haunt the next person to use my computer.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, so true.

If that kid drools on the keyboard, it's fecked.
ReplyDeleteThe one with dad and kids looks familiar. If it was Husband and Wife. (Walking away, innocently whistling...)

I don't have the technical skills to be a geek, much more nerdish here but the photos were a tad close to the bone just the same.

ReplyDeleteGreat minds thing alike. I have some of these same pics on Monday's post. ('Course, I had to add some blah-blah-blah, too.)
ReplyDeleteErk - a reminder to gather up my coffee cups. Just when I had worked out that I actually am a geek, Yorkshire Pudding goes and confuses the issue.
