I'm not sure if it's a Possum John, they have tails like a giant rat...hairless. Either way, he's had a good time eating all those tarts. Love the dog picture :) ~Jo
That poor possum is in a carb coma. I know how he feels.
American possums (or opossums) and the possums found in Australia and NZ are quite different animals, they're both marsupials but that's as far as it goes. Aussie possums are much cuter.
Poor thing ! I have sent you one of my favourites x
ReplyDeleteJammy dodger!
ReplyDeleteMy kind of possum. I could match him pound for pound and flip him for the last tart.
ReplyDeleteCrazy thing ... must have been have a carb/sweet PMS moment

Great photos, John. love the one of the Possum. The one of the dog blowing in the wind is priceless.
ReplyDeleteLove the dog picture! What kind of possum is that? It's nothing like the possums we have here...

Look at the size of its stomach! Crivvens!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute to look at. But a scourge here in NZ...
I'm thinking Mr. Possum has a tummy ache...and the dog is as happy as a pig in pig poo poo!
ReplyDeleteMy husband once caught me after a cookie binge hding in the barn looking about the same. At least I still had my pants on. Barely
ReplyDeleteI sometimes look, and feel, like that Possum... but never with sugary tarts.
ReplyDeleteNever seen a possum before, they look naughty but funny xx
ReplyDeleteLovely John. I have never yet met a dog or cat who has walked across our lawn and tried to hold its stomach in to appear less overfed.
ReplyDeleteOh great. Now I'm craving jammy tarts.
ReplyDeleteFunny animal pics usually leave me cold, but that Possum made me laugh during a stressful day.
ReplyDeleteLove the jam smeared on the wall. Busted!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Christmas !!
Oh that possum is adorable! It's my new must-have pet, I will even bake jam tarts for him.
ReplyDeleteNon-human animals can be bloody honest. I've only thought of hiding in a box of tarts.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love opossums!
ReplyDeleteAaargh! Did the possum make it? I sense an explosion at any moment.
ReplyDeleteI honestly didn't think that wild animals would overeat. Must have been a sugar-rush thing.
