Well, she has the best nurse in all of Wales to look after her...and I bet she doesn't ever nip Constance again.

  3. Just caught up with the dog fight. It sounds like bitches fight harder than male dogs - when our two have a set-to it is always a lot of noise, a lot of struggling, then Bools pins Gus beneath him and all is quiet again!

  4. I always had the garden hose ready when I had dogs. Males will fight until one submits. Females will kill. Period. Glad you had that bucket!
Sorry mybabyjohn, but it most likely will happen again.
    Cheers John!

  6. Now, now girls...
Poor Meg, they didn't even clean the blood off her fur with a little peroxide.
A terrier and a bullbog, almost like the Spartans and the Romans, pick your weapon !
You'll have to keep an eye on the girls, probably happen again, since they've tested the water :(

  8. Crud! So sorry about the expense. We carefully budgeted our move and then spent more than $1,500 in medical bills before we could GIVE OUR CATS AWAY! The best laid plans.

  9. Oh my, poor Meg. She certainly came out the worst of it. Good thing she has a good nurse around.

  10. Aw, I missed the previous post and caught up quickly to find out who had a fight. I'm sorry the girls took each other on, and more sorry for poor Meg who really looks the loser. Yep, worldwide the vet prices are exhorbitant. At least she has the best nurse at all times. Jo

  12. Oh golly! They both look the worse for wear. I don't know whether to feel sorry for them, or to laugh.

  13. Poor Meg, it just goes to show that dogs will be dogs, no matter how well you think you know them.

  14. Oh terriers! I doubt Meg will be quelled from further pursuits of Constance!

  15. just caught up... oh dear !

Dillon is such a sweetie but once in a while gets all 'macho' & snarls at other male dogs. It's horrible & I threaten to cut his boy's bits off at these times.

Thanks for your lovely comment - means a lot to me.

  17. It would be cheaper th dip her in gold and stick her on the mantle piece. The joys of pet ownership!

  18. The 'dill' word should read 'did'.

  19. The poor sweetheart, she looks so sorry for herself. I seem to remember a fight at school like that and water was used too!! (The fat bitch in question on that day would have fought to the death too! She now works on the till at the co-op). xxx

  23. Oh John, I'm so sorry. Long explanation. I just copied and pasted the url but failed to remember I am watching a playlist and while the videos change, the url stays on the first one watched...so that is the wrong url.

    Here is the correct one:

And just in case, it is QI Series C, episode 9 Creatures, Part 2 of 2.
