so I will concentrate on what I do best.....
....abject rubbish
Its been a blustery, fairly cold day, so I have had to content myself with veg sowing and planting, clearing my pea frames and mowing the grass.
I took the dogs up the Gop to blow away the cobwebs, then its back to the mundane;
sweetcorn needs planting and there is a big pile of sick that Constance thoughtfully managed to "throw up" under the fridge to clean up..........at least it seems that she is now out of season........her sluttish behaviour seems for the most part to have stopped!

Menagerie on the move. Sorry about the vomit.... yuk.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though even Wiliam's nose is blowing in the wind. He's got some nice white teeth!
ReplyDeleteDid Constance add to the wind?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture of William!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think we could all do with a bit of blowing the cobwebs out.
ReplyDeleteConstance is such a stout girl, she looks like she could take on the whole village, perched upon the hill.
What a happy little group you are :)

Now THAT looks like a 'walk' wee three would enjoy! Nice shots John.
ReplyDeleteWilliam looks like he's saying "Sausages" lol x
ReplyDeleteWilliam brightened my day! It is very gloomy with dark clouds all about us here.
ReplyDeleteWilliam is fabulous ! Bad girl constance !
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lovely walk! William is certainly getting his cobwebs blown out! tee hee. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you have Constance under control again...what a girl!
ReplyDeleteI love William. Does he have eyes under that fringe?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic view. I adore Williams windy smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view Constance is looking at. I think I could sit there all day and just bask in the serene view.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE William's toothy smile!! xo
ReplyDeleteThe picture of William is priceless! To cute!
ReplyDeleteSo glad someone's sluttish behavior appears to have stopped. So, what's a Gop?
ReplyDeleteGot to the 'vomit' bit just as I was popping a lovely chunk of hazelnut chocolate into my mouth. Not to worry, though, I was not put off and I carried on with the choccie. Hope your sick-clearing task went quickly and effortlessly! My choccie-eating did!

ReplyDeleteThe Gop is an ancient neolithoc hill fort and burial mound which overlooks our village
I find the fact that you can walk a neolithic hill fort amazing! And I don't know how I found your blog, but I have a Welsh (Davey) and enjoy your dogs from afar.
ReplyDeleteI adore that "fang-y" WIlliam shot! Nice Constance bum, too.
ReplyDeleteWilliam is too cute!
ReplyDeleteAbject rubbish is my specialty!
ReplyDeleteMeh. I started my blog to be about gardening, but I find that the more I write about it, the less people read/comment.
You wouldn't have that problem, of course, because you're too awesome! Your animals are awesome too :)
See now, there's a post that we will always welcome.
ReplyDeleteWhenever you don't want to post about broccoli, you can always post about Constance, George, William and Meg or your other family members. :)
*Hugs* John. ♥
Think your health problems can be laid at the feet of major stress levels? Don't know what the Doc could prescribe as a cure but sure hope he has some magic up his sleeve. The trip up the Gop sounds like a good move in that direction. Hope you are feeling much better. ...under the fridge? ...I hate moving the fridge!
ReplyDeleteHere in Stepford (I mean Irvine), California, there's a ranch from the 1900s. Other than that, not much around from before the 1960s. Living near a Gop sounds magical. Hope to see one some day.

ReplyDeleteI generally live a stress freee life
x
Oh William is just so cute! I used to know agreyhound who would lift her lip in a snarly expression, but she was just smiling.
ReplyDeleteWilliam shot to die for!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
ReplyDeleteAre you planning for tiny little Constants any time or just delaying the spaying?
It is always refreshing to blow away the cobwebs. Hang in there, you will be fine.
That shot of William is fantastic! Love the first picture of Constance too!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love that pic of William. I can get Hootie to make that same face if I tickle his cheeks. Aren't our Welshies so much fun?!
ReplyDeleteWilliam looks like he would be grand as a motorcycle dog. :-)
