In Memoriam
The following post...is a kind of "in memoriam" review of 2010!
In true Oscar style, I think there should be some moving yet uplifting music to accompany the words!
play this and read on!
I thank all the soldiers whenever I see them and shake their hand~! I love to talk to the old men and hear their stories about World War 2. It had to be frightening and horrible memories to have to remember because they were there. Have a great day~! ta ta for now from Iowa...
First-time visitor to your blog, thanks to (a) your being named Blogger of the Year for 2010 by Yorkshire Pudding and (b) my being congenitally curious. I shall begin reading past posts immediately. Oh, and anyone who lists 121 favorite movies in his profile can't be all bad.
We still watch Band of Brothers on a regular basis - an all time classic (Damien Lewis is my favourite "Ginner") xx
ReplyDeleteHope the two of you are feeling better!

ReplyDeleteRead on where, John?
ReplyDeleteHave always had a problem with Hollywood's 'romanticism' with war on any level.
