Rude

Trump's pushing-aside -of-the-other- leaders to get to the front at yesterday's NATO meeting caused much debate in the Gray/Burton household
I thought it was just rude. The Prof saw it as an Alpha Male showing his penis!
I think we are both right

Of course it was rude. Uncouth. The man has no manners, no finesse, no charm. Worse - no brain.

An alpha male doesn't need to show their "penis". That's what makes them alpha. Trump? Let's call him a Y.

No one ever thought if they did not vote ... that would be a "vote" of sorts, a declaration by the People, for the People , that this choice is not good and we won't stand by it.
If you worry something is bad, do you do it/take it/use it anyway because of choices ?

      Delete
    3. Trump may have not been the right choice but Hillary was definitely the wrong choice , thats what it came down to. And i had hopes for Trump. I completely agree with his immigration issues... although not much else. All i ask is that if you come to live in the US you do so legally and pay your taxes like everyone else.. not just live off the system and reap the benefits... I have never seen such an outpouring of hate for an American President.. but maybe i haven't been around long enough.. The things people are willing to say... crude , vicious things even about their own President... I'll tell you what quite a few people voted FOR Trump but all you hear from are the haters..........I hate to see my President disrespected by Americans or others... I mean even if you don't care for your President do you really feel comfortable when you see him disrespected?

    5. *Ahem* "...I have never seen such an outpouring of hate for an American President. but maybe I haven't been around long enough." Were you living under a rock the last eight years when Trump led the "birther" charge against President Obama? Where were you when Rep. Joe Wilson shouted "You lie!" at President Obama during his first State of the Union address? You have bought into Trump's mantra of "Poor me, nobody in the history of the world has been so disrespected." Baloney.

I'll try and put this as gently as possible, Rachel: Being outraged by one thing doesn't mean there is no room to be bemused by another.

I am sure people don't "wish him dead and express hate" because of yet another gaffe of his. If that is your view it's rather simplistic. Trump poses a real danger, is an embarrassment to many Americans and is a man who potentially could fuck up big time - most likely with him not even comprehending what the hell he is doing (which is the tragic part).

By the way, just so that there is no misunderstanding, I for one do not wish Trump dead. I don't even hate him. I despise him. Most the time I pity him - for he doesn't know what an imbecile he is. As the joke goes - Trump and a bull enter a china shop... No contest.

Jill, I feel sorry for him. He needs to know that he is loved and genuinely cared for. I don't think he has ever felt those things. Even his second and third wives could not have loved him, but married him for other reasons. Trump has to be one of the most pitifully sad humans on the planet.

  41. The tangerine buffoon is a rude bully, but not, in my opinion, an alpha male - he would just like to be. And anybody ever see that programme (Body and Doyle - the Professionals). Not a bad programme but the opening sequence used to make me laugh with their "tough guy trout pouts" - I guess a bit like females are doing now by puffing up their lips. Trout pout/ducks bum look. Trump does it all the time - but really ends up with the "duck's bum" look. Not a good look. Anna

Try living in a place where such people have been in hiding, waiting for the rise of such a "leader," and their time has finally come. It's open season on decent citizens here. Violence and rudeness are on the rise, and ignorance is worn like a badge of honor. Civility is a sign of civilization. We learned that back when citizenship was still taught in school. I hope decent folk have enough cheeks to turn until the tide turns.

    Pray for us.
