"I'll admit I may have seen better days,
but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,
like a salted
And how lovely that the crowd was so happy for them.

TWO police couples made the news yesterday; ain't love grand? so happy for them!

They don't look as young as most of the other coppers do these days...
Its the beards
I didn't they needed 'beards' to keep their jobs these days...
Love is a wonderful thing.
Doesn't this illustrate the seismic shift that's taken place!! Not so many years ago the police and army were the most homophobic institutions we had - at least here in New Zealand... over there too? Hurray!!!
Saw this on the news... so glad he said "yes"!

I didn't see this while it was happening but I was just down the street! I do love the video!

I'm delighted for them, but hate to see public marriage proposals of any sort.If my husband had proposed to me in front of a crowd, my answer would have been a resounding 'NO'!I don't understand this need some folk have to 'share' what should be a private, romantic and intimate moment.
must admit i shed a tear at this....doesnt get much better does it
My first thought was, wonderful. My second was, do those beards act like velcro?
Bought a tear to my eye ! X
A lovely moment :-)We need all the happy news we can grab at the moment!
love all that shared happiness for them. Congrats to them both.
I love it! It's always wonderful to see happy, loving people. My eyes are blurry with happy tears!
I can remember being on gay pride marches in London in the seventies, when the marchers would ask the cops if they were gay or not. They never got any response beyond a sheepish grin. How things have changed.
One of the best things I've seen for ages, simply perfect x
