The Production

We opened the doors at 6.30 pm and the hall was packed to capacity by 6.50. It was a grand night , which I shall share properly tomorrow.
Velvet Voiced Linda almost stole the show with her spirited A child’s Christmas In Wales by Dylan Thomas  and I loved Nina’s “ A Filipina In Trelawnyd “ which had the same vibe

But it was the music won the night, The Folk group Cecryn my dear Gwaenysgor Choir, Chelsea Cameron , ten year old Imogen .all were amazing, and I watched it all from my fire exit duty position as the team produced a night of fun and community .
Much love to the eclectic committee….we made 1000£ in 2 hours

  1. That was a lot of money raised and well done by all. Committees organising such events can become difficult to be part of, but in this case I think it must have been very cohesive.

How utterly marvelous that so much was raised in just 2 hours and that the hall was filled by an appreciative audience! Loved the video and look forward to what you post tomorrow.

    1. Forgot to say that ages ago when the world was younger, I bought DH the album of "A Child's Christmas in Wales", read by Dylan Thomas, and we still have it.

      Hugs!

Well, money raised in 2 hours + countless rehearsals and planning and preparation....... And I love that last audience picture. So it's one and done? If anyone in the area missed it they are out of luck?

    Cheers, Ceci

  25. Well done to all. Maybe next year you will have to do the show twice over two nights, or maybe a matinee at the weekend. It sounds as though it was very popular.

I read Dylan Thomas' A Child's Christmas in Wales every year, it is a lovely little book. :-)
