A blog reader sent me some of my own business cards today.
A kind gift for sure and I must admit that’s it’s weird to see myself in print so to speak, even though I write here daily.
Today was my counselling day, with me seeing five clients in total.
Nice navy jumper in place
And no gravy stains
And finally AI is good for something
This rather moved me

Wonderful business cards and such a nice surprise gift for you!
ReplyDeleteOh, John, these men have such kind faces, smiling eye, and gentle smiles. I assume they are all photos from long ago but it would be nice to know them as friends. Lovely. Ta!
Hugs!
please make that 'smiling eyes'.
ReplyDeleteLovely eyes
DeleteWell done John on moving towards your goal despite the setbacks in health and heart. We (you and I) divorced at the same time.....we both kept going even when it was so darn hard. I am proud of both of us.
ReplyDeleteFor me, the video reminds me of just how little time we have and then become a blip in history. I too felt emotional watching it. I hope they were happy gents.
Hugs Linda hugs
DeleteA very kind gesture to send you the business cards. My honest opinion is they are more suitable to a face painter than an accredited counsellor.
ReplyDeleteI think they are lovely , but I may get another set made that look rather more serious …then I will have 2 cards suitable for different tastes
DeleteExcellent idea, from the comments below some people like these ones.
DeleteI love the positive cards. Well done on the gravy free navy jumper. It will suit you sir. Josie( )
ReplyDeleteI bought a spare today too
DeleteI think you should frame one of those business cards, to remind yourself, if you ever have impostor syndrome, that you are official! Five clients and a clean jumper - well done!
ReplyDeleteYes, the video moved me, too. I wonder who those men were and what their lives were like. I hope they were as happy as they all looked. xx
My blogging it , I think. Just have
DeleteThe business cards are uplifting and that's what potential clients need.
ReplyDeleteThey are colourful
DeleteI like the cards and it is always nice to have a card handy in case someone asks how to get in touch with you. 5 clients is a good day, well worth getting cleaned up for. Gigi
ReplyDeleteOne of my clients said they were happy to be back , that pleased me
DeleteI love the cards. If I was a client I'd feel you are so accessible, not stuffy or mean.
ReplyDeleteBravo for the clean simple jumper. And a spare.
The photos brought to life are lovely, there's an artist on ID [and TikTok] who does this and adds historical info as available. He will work with peoples' pics too.

DeleteNew business cards, new jumpers and 5 clients. All is good!
ReplyDeleteI’ve got a business bank account too, how grown up
DeleteI recently gave the AI treatment to a photo from this summer. The result was amazing; especially of my grandson Boo Boo.
ReplyDeleteXx
Deletenice cards, brave of you to put your number on the blog, so tempting to ring it and see if youre there lol! (i wont)... your first 5 clients are lucky people, I suspect that after your qualifications and experience your sense of humour is going to be a huge asset, laughter goes a long way to making us better. Betty
ReplyDeleteIt’s on my history blog too, a chance I have to take
DeleteI’ve been making poppies with the local WI for a display at the village church for Remembrance Day. I saw the faces as those who were killed in wars…the ‘before’ pictures that the grieving relatives had on their mantels.

DeleteKind gesture, but they look too new-age/woo woo for me. I wouldn't expect a serious approach from anyone using cards like this.
ReplyDeletePoint taken , I’ve ordered others too which are more “ formal”
DeleteIt’s a new era of gravy-free jumpers! The AI is a marvel, and innocent in its use here.
ReplyDeleteA new era …I like that ….
