Oooh, this looks SO good! Generous portions, that perfect sheen of good food lovingly prepared, a very tall Yorkie and good gravy. Bet you all felt very smiley and replete after. And all ready for Christmas. Perfect!
There are too many brussel sprouts to tuck into my pockets for later disposal. The rest looks good. Is that cranberry sauce? There must be some turkey as well as pork.
I have not had a sprout since my hubby died ,but as he loved them I ate them with him. That dinner looks very yummy, I would fall asleep after a meal like that. I am glad that you and your colleagues had such a nice time and meal together. Your days off will be coming up soon, so enjoy every minute. Gigi
There are 3 meals served there yet you said there would be 3 staff on to look after the patients. Who was looking after the patients while the 3 of you were tucking in and pulling crackers?
Lord, your consistent effort to find fault leads me to believe that you are unreal and are just complaining for the age of complaining . I will answer your question. We organised the meal only after we had completed all of the cares or our patients. The meal was also set up at the nurses station so any bell that was called would be answered immediately . We felt, as a team it was important to eat together,
So the muffin looking things are Yorkshire Puddings. I keep meaning to look up how these are made, can't think of a SE US equivalent based on what I imagine.....maybe spoon bread? If so yum.
