How thoroughly nice to see a monarch as something more than a figurehead, as a very attractive and fallible human being yet still a king. Yes, I like a man with a beard too, my late husband looked very similar, and in 46 years together, I never did see his chin! Make of that what you will!
Take away the silly Ruritanian uniform and all you're left with is another bloke given a role because it's his right. Surely we should be respecting people for what they've achieved rather than what they've been given.
I think it's wonderful that he has been able to take on this new role at this age. And a great looking one at that! Also, thanks for the Stevie Wonder song. This one has meaning for me as Stevie wrote it at the birth of his son, at the same time my sister was giving birth to my lovely twin nephews (they shared an Ob/Gyn, largely because my sister had been part of that hospital system as an employee). Yes I think he is too!
ReplyDeleteI do like a man with a beard. Nice teeth, too! xx
ReplyDeleteYes, he is just perfect, in the looks department. Gigi
ReplyDeleteAnd just got the top job!
ReplyDeleteSomeday your prince will come.

ReplyDeleteTosh, he’s lovely eye candy
DeleteI agree, and it's nice that he can step up while he and his wife are young enough to make a difference, and enjoy their roles too.
