  1. I love how they both found it so funny. Their laughter is truly infectious. I've no doubt someone will say we shouldn't be laughing, though! xx

Laughing is the best way to get through some situations. Actually all situations. We aren't perfect , we shouldn't take ourselves so seriously. Beth

  7. I must admit that if my taxi driver had Tourette's I would be alarmed. I suppose that makes me a touretteist.

Laughing with them, not at them. Too funny. Gigi

I find it appalling that people laugh at others in this way.
My long term partner has Tourettes, his son from a previous relationship also had Tourettes but tragically took his own life aged 22. What was funny to others was torture for him. My partner was devastated and has never got over it.
Surprised that you think this is a laughable subject John, not all Tourettes victims are able to laugh at themselves.

But these people did laugh at themselves.

    2. And they were the ones to put the footage online. I do wonder whether it was staged though. I don't doubt that they both have Tourettes, but I think they planned it - for a laugh.

Faked or staged I'd expect. All too neat how brief and just starts right before when the ride stops. Can't trust anything.

    1. You can and do edit film clips to get them to the right length for a TikTok you know!!

You can also fake pretty much anything, you know... This looks totally fake to me.

  13. I think it's wonderful when someone can find a pleasurable moment however frivolous to brighten their day x

At the expense of others though.

  14. Their laughter (at their own joke) seemed real, but the rest I think was staged.

  15. I encounter a man with Tourette's in my supermarket in France. He now has a whistle which he blows instead of shouting. I don't understand how this works, but it does!

  16. I didn't watch the video and chose not to read the comments until now, a few days after it was posted.because it is a painful topic for me. My son was diagnosed with Tourettes in first grade and school was hell both academically and socially for him because of it. He is older now and his.tics have calmed down but he was badly affected by what he went through up until his college years when people were much more accepting of him.
