I agree. That is a great movie, John. Enjoy.

She had a great minor roleBut celeste and Bette were the stars
Bette reminds me of my aunt.Jane x
Sleep well, John. ♥
May I suggest a glass of inexpensive, fine wine to help wind you down. A lost duck; well doesn't that happen to all of us. I am sure he/she will turn up.
Love the "bumpy" line. ( I thought that sounded like Marilyn.)I love watching old movies too... enjoy!Hope the duck shows up tomorrow.
I've heard of but haven't seen that movie, but the clip looks good and now I'm curious.
My freezer broke last night. Whilst I was sleeping... not a good morning...Els
I've never seen that film, in fact there are soooo many of the old black and whites that I have yet to watch.I bet they are much more calming than our current late night choice of watching - Luther, how we sleep easy in our bed I'll never know!!
It's pretty good. No more, no less.
It would have been good, but not great, without Bette. She takes it (and many other films) to an altogether different level.
I love this film too, no washing up or lost duck for me though.
Well I never, 'All ABout Eve' eh? A fabulous movie, and one of our favourites also. You have taste.
I adore it gary
Didn't you read my header?
I rented this a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it.
