  7. If I were a goldfish in a glass of water, I would feel trapped, like my life was just swimming around and around and getting nowhere .... threatened but not knowing what is doing the threatening ... like I need a break .. a trip, a night away, even just a few hours away from Everything ... clear my head and shake off the sadness etc.
    How am I doing ?

  8. If it is water, you are drowning, if it is alcohol, c'est la vie.

  9. If that's your answer up there ^^ I am sorry to hear it. It's not a nice feeling. Take care.

  10. Ok. On a dare, for whatever reason, you put a large amt of vodka in a wine glass, took a hapless goldfish, tossed it in, then a moment after the picture tossed it back in one swallow, feeling the fish flutter as it went down your esophagus, finally meeting it's end in your gastric acid juices.
    Close? No?

  12. There is a commercial for some drug on TV that has a beautiful goldfish flopping around on the floor because his is out of water and can't breath. Just like the little boy who feels like this because he can't breathe without his inhaler ? I thought of this when I saw your photo.
    Are you feeling lost ?

    cheers, parsnip and thehamish

If I were you I'd feel ... but I am not - so I don't know. What I imagine you are thinking is: "What fresh hell is this?"

  18. Well, you've already given the answer. But I thought you were being watched and felt like you couldn't escape the prying eyes. Thunder and rain and stir crazy make sense, too.

  19. I could only think of that passage in Lace by Shirley Conran, but it did seem unlikely. Must be my age.
